Great place to eat with amazing service! There's a waiting area with drinks and snacks, and then we ordered while waiting for our table to be cleaned. They have a 2 hour seating limit, but it was more than enough for the 4 of us and we were able to get the 12% discount if you can finish within 1.5 hours. We got disposable aprons to wear, and the server even gave me and my female friend hair ties! I forgot to get a photo of the sauce selection, but it was really great with more options than I see at a lot of places. The items we ordered had decent portion sizes and were good quality as well. There is also free dessert at the sauce bar and you can get free ice cream as well in a cute little container.nnIt can be a little pricey it isn't all-you-can-eat but it's not much more expensive than other hotpot places and I think it's very worth it. There's a reason there's a huge line on weekends! Servers are super helpful and friendly and take really good care of you. Highly recommend!
Best hot pot experience ever! The hot pots at each table have 4 vents that actively suck the food fumes as you cook, so you don't come out smelling like well...a hot pot. The food quality was amazing and we ordered so much I don't even remember what specifically, so just look at my pictures. The soup bases we chose were the tomato soup base, pork tripe and chicken soup base, Sichuan Spicy, and mushroom soup base. THERE WAS ALSO A NOODLE SHOW YOU CAN ORDER! Basically, it's a guy that comes out to play with his noodles, tossing it in the air and sometimes whipping it at you but of course, never touching you; watch the video below. Overall, the food was such good quality we walked out feeling very satiated and not at all heavy like it would feel at other hot pot places or when eating hot pot at home.nnService was NEXT LEVEL. No other restaurant's service that I've been to comes close to the service we received here. They treated my pregnant friend with such care and even gave her a goodiebag. They made sure to keep our glasses filled and were very quick about it. They even fished out the extra oil from the top of the soup base once it boiled. There were hairties, mints, snacks, available AT the table for you to use at your pleasure! They give you a bib/apron so feel free to wear white haha can't keep this though, in case any of you are getting ideas. If you have any leftovers they are more than happy to pack it for you. Their washrooms have mints, mouthwash, and toothpicks!nnAtmosphere is lively and high end showing their obvious dedication to the cuisine.nnWill definitely come back again for the best hot pot spot in Toronto. I couldn't gush enough about this place!
First time trying hotpot and had a really great experience!nWe got the lunch for 2 and there was so much food. They have a little bar where you can make your own sauce with a board of suggestions and some fruit as well.nThe servers were super attentive, and always around for any questions. Our primary server was Oliver and he was so nice and explained everything, gave suggestions, made us a soup from the bar. They also provide aprons, hair ties, give you a snack to try.nWe saw the chefs preparing dancing noodles which was cool. There is little codes you can say for free things - give one a try on your visit, we got a free toy!nWe also had a delicious dessert called I think golden bricks, the cloudiest bread bun with a crispy outside and you dip in condensed milk.nCan’t wait to try again!
One of our favourite Haidilao locations—the staff are always very friendly and we always get served well. The quality of the ingredients is always very high with additional promotions for weekday lunches such as their $2.95 beef and student special. Our favourite item is the tomato soup base which we get every visit. We especially enjoyed our experience with Jeff pictured—he gave great recommendations and was very responsive to our requests.
Wow! Honestly one of the best places I've gone to in my entire life.nSuper friendly service, all waiters will kindly explain everything to you.nFood was super tasty, from the drinks to dessert.nTotally recommend it! c:nThey are also super mindful about any food allergies!
