Haggen Food & Pharmacy

Mix of conventional and healthy. The deli is really old school (think 50s Safeway vs. Whole Foods). Whole store tends to run a bit expensive. Prefer Trader Joe’s for most things and Whole Foods for things I can’t get at TJs. Pharmacy is great. Always very helpful staff. Would love to see Haggen up their game!

Haggen's has gone down hill since the aquisition by lawyers and accountants and not nearly the store it was when owned by a local family. The produce is poor quality and in the past it was price but reliably very, very good. The pharmacy is slow and the staff seem over worked.

Wait time to check out is often long. Would give 5 stars if they responded to long lines faster. Otherwise, great store!!

Fairhaven Market is my local grocery store. Although no longer local)y owned and operated by the Haggen family, Fairhaven Market remains a well-managed, caring part of our community. Although this store has a particularly small footprint, management maintains a surprisingly large number of inventory items and employs the best crew in the industry.
