Unity Care NW - Bellingham

Parking wasn't great, but care was much better than I expected. I visited Dr. Lien, who prefers to be called "Casey". He is an excellent family medicine doctor who is well-versed on the latest nutritional science. Smart guy, very friendly and caring, good listener. Highly recommended.

My children and myself have seen the same Dr at unity care for years now. He's great and super helpful. The rest of the staff (especially the reception) is below acceptable and very unprofessional. The parking is a disaster. You have to grab a ticket as if your at the DMV. The worst part is dental. If you're an adult, they say to come in for a stand by appointment. That's waiting all day to see if you can be seen regardless of the amount of pain you may be in. This seems inhumane to me. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Big thumbs down!!!!

Horrible!! I was not impressed at all by anyone that I met or spoke with the entire time I was there. The desk lady was rude and hard to understand. I totally felt like they would have rather me go somewhere else. In fact the lady who does the mental health intake told me I should go somewhere else if I really wanted help because they would only see me maybe once a month so if I really wanted help it would be better for me to go to Sea-mar or Compass Health. I told the doctor that I have scoliosis and my back has been really messed up lately like it really hurt and I could barely move and turn my head and he said well ya you have scoliosis and you're old it's gonna hurt but didn't offer any solutions or pain meds or chiropractor or anything. Nothing! Then I told him I have had this sinus thing for about four months now and it's moved into my chest and he says ya it takes awhile to get over stuff but again offered no help or solutions or anything. No antibiotics, nothing just a complete waste of time. I would not recommend Unity Care to anyone. It would be better to try and do something on your own at home than going to Unity Care. I'd try snake oil and voodoo before I went back to Unity Care again. The only reason I gave it even one star is because you can't post anything if you don't rate it.

Very great place. They don't pull teeth unless they really need to be pulled. Work fast and really care about you. Aren't on their smartphones all day. I would recommend this to anyone. If you haven't seen a dentist in a few years, I would suggest this place.

Their doctor's are overworked and have too many patients on their caseload. The doctors and nurses are great but when the management fails to take care of their end then everyone else suffers. I personally feel this happens all too often in all heathcare facilities. They don't realize the damage they create when the employees aren't taken care of. Quality of care for everyone especially for the ones of whom are making important decisions for their patients!
