He took a quick look at my son and told me he'd grow into his tonsils and adenoids. My son is 7, this has been an ongoing issue since he was 2. My son clearly has some kind of nasal blockage. His speech therapist and any one around him can clearly hear it. My son can't breath out of his nose. So now I am left looking for another opinion as my son's issues keep being unaddressed.
He has been my doctor for years and I love him. He is kind and very professional at the same time. Has always helped me feel better.
Good luck trying to get in touch with this office. I've emailed multiple times to cancel my appointment with no reply. They don't answer the phone and mailbox is full.
The office staff and their process for hospital emergency referrals is horrible. their staff give me the excuse that they haven't received the fax referral from the hospital. a fax takes 2 seconds to be sent. it has been 3 business days and a weekend in between and they haven't received the fax. that is hard to believe. they are also very bad in answering phone calls and never replied to my email. i called North York general hospital and complained so that they can refer patients to another ENT clinic as these people in that clinic do not care.
Doctor is amazing, however good luck getting another appointment, scheduling surgery because they don't respond to email, don't answer their phones and the voicemail box to leave messages is full. So basically you have to physically go back to the office to get any kind of response or answers.
A caring and gentle doctor. Went there three times for painful procedures for my kids nasal cauterizing twice and nasal scope once and both kids had a great and painless experience.
Wonderful staff at this clinic. Dr. Kandasamy is very knowledgeable and caring. My mom had almost lost her hearing. Dr.K. took such great care of my mom.
I don’t know what went wrong but I’m very disappointed with his service. My requisition form was support to sent to the hospital on Sep22 and I waited more than one month on Oct-27 to call and follow up Dr. Asked me to contact myselfwith the hospital and they said never received the referral form.. then I begged him to send again. When I called in today, still no requisition received by the hospital.. over two months I waited for nothing since I got referred to him, I feel there is no responsibility and my time is not valuable, seems like he doesn’t care about my health at all. VERY SAD!
Dr. Kandasamy does not seem to be experienced enough. I had tons of symptoms and signs of sinusitis and Rhinitis. He did not give me even a relieving suggestion, no treatment. Only spent 3 minutes with me staring at me, pretending to listen to my complaints. I left there without any treatment plan or a plan for follow up. I will go back to my family doctor who is more knowledgable and experienced !
Doctor-5 star. Reception - 1 star. Doctor was fast with my kid and very helpful, a pro. Solved our problems for kid and husband. Bad reception! Because we were given false info by the receptionist we are in a situation with no refill. We were not even informed in the first place. Don't call people and tell that "simply come in to get a refill"!!! They never answer the phone and they are supposed to return the calls but not always do. When they called me back I was told that I can simply come and get the refill. I did so. There I was told that our last appointment was more than a year ago and now to get a refill we need a reference from our family doctor and to book an appointment in 2 months! My daughter is allergic and needs medicine especially in spring. They should let people know that to have a follow up we need to come during the year. They should have asked me when they called me back about when was our last appointment. They did not.They just said "come and get your refill". How am I supposed to know what to ask. I just asked" What do I need to get a refill ?". A receptionist should at least ask my last name and check the system before giving answers. This is a doctor's office, patients have health problems, it is serious. It is not a beauty salon. Please train your receptionists.
