Upon arrival I was not greeted by staff, instead I stood there in line assuming this was what I was supposed to do. The one woman at the desk boldly stated “why are these people standing here” referring to the patients waiting in a line at reception. It was odd. Once it was my turn, I was told if I don’t have a mask I must leave, I had no problem with putting on a mask, but none were provided this is November 2022, very few places still require a mask and I did not have my own. Before giving me a chance to speak I was told that in fact they are busy and full and thus, closed for the day, this was 3:30pm on a Wednesday, however online and posted on the door, the hours state they close at 5pm. Prior to my arrival I tried calling 3x with no response. The lady at the desk told me “come earlier next time” as to avoid this random closure. I have been a patient of Dr. B before and did not have any issues, but today was a big slap in the face. I hope they strive to do better in the future. This was a poor representation of proper healthcare.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I tried to take my daughter here today and was refused because I forgot my mask. I had already lugged all 3 of my kids under 5 in the rain back home twice - once because I forgot my children’s health card and once because I forgot my phone and wallet. I told the receptionist I would be a happy to wear a mask if she had one. She refused and said it says no mask no service on the door as if that is a solution. Note, when I looked at the door signs on my way out it was postered in signage so good luck trying to gleam important info without stopping to read an essay, I saw they don’t want you entering their clinic if you have any cold or flu symptoms. So good luck to anyone who is sick, this place is a joke! Who is worried about private health care when a supposed public option can deny you service for being sick? BTW, my daughter who I thought had a sore throat actually just had an ear infection. Good to know we almost gave this clinic Covid from her ear infection. Horrible horrible place that should not be allowed to operate

I'll get straight to the point. This was my second visit at this clinic, the first visit being the same as the second. I don't know the doctors at this clinic, and I don't know why they've chosen the receptionist they have chosen. The reason for my 1 star rating is literally and solely because the receptionist at this clinic is by far, the most unprofessional, condescending, rude and pathetic person you could ever deal with. She will speak down to you and make you feel like you are useless and your problems are not important. She makes it a point to make your life miserable by asking you uncomfortable questions and speak to you in a very questionable manner. Her lack of professionalism and terrible attitude will be the downfall of this clinic. I will NEVER step foot in this clinic again. Nymark Medical Centre, DO BETTER.

Really nice location. Receptionists are super helpful and welcoming and try to get you in as quickly as possible. Waiting area is a bit old but besides that, everything is good. Doctors are super kind and understanding and dont rush you.

I have read almost all the reviews here, to tell the truth I did not have any problems with front desk or with dr Sonia Simon. I am the mother of twin boys, when I called for the first time clinic they directly accepted us, we didn’t have OHIP yet but they said just come. Our doctor is Sonia Simon, she is an amazing and very supportive person. Even when she is very very busy, she always finds time for us, she answers all our questions, she tries really hard to help me about all the details as I am the first time mom. People who work there are also helpful, i am the first time mom, sometimes I can be anxious about small things but at the clinic they really try to help. Even today I called them to book an appointment with dr Sonia Simon because my babies are sick, the lady from front desk was like ‘ oh mommy I will try to find a spot for both of your both’ and she wasn’t rude or anything else. And she made an appointment for us very quickly. So I am happy with our doctor, and with the clinic, I wish everyone will have the same experience as me.

I went in the clinic as walk in. The waiting time is not to bad. But hearing from the receptionist are very stressful that you feel you going to get sick even you just need a dr notes. The receptionist is very rude and she will cut you off while talking to someone else.

Please stay away. Front desk receptionist is extremely rude. I was a walk-in paient and signed in around 1130. She told me to come back in an hour which I did at 12:30. Almost 2 and still havent seen the doctor. The doctor on duty is sitting on his phone between appointments for awhile , and he waiting room is packed with people asking when they can be seen that have been waiting awhile like myself. I asked the lady why she told me to come et 1230 and she got very defensive and rude. There's much better options in he area. Please avoid this dump.

The doctors here are great. The admin staff are downright awful from a patient's perspective. Expect a long wait unless you go early in the morning. They have an automated computer system for signing in, but you have to do so in person, and it's a bit of a crapshoot if it's working or not on any given day. And it does not synch with their website so you can check you place in line even though it says it does. There are signs everywhere saying they will not tolerate abusive behaviour, or you will be removed. Which is fair enough. In sure at a walk in clinic they get a lot of that sort of thing. All the more that kudos go to the doctors here; people are coming in already frustrated by pain or illness, then they are dealing with the admin staff, and long waits, and yet every time I've seen a doctor here they've been patient, compassionate and helpful.

I had the worst experience with this clinic few years ago with one doctor. He was extremely rude and racist ran me out of his office like a dog when I needed a sick note & medication due to my severe menstruation pain . He had no compassion and said to me “ I’m tired of you people trying to get sick notes to escape work get out!! “ He opened the office door and ran me out as if I was a dog or beneath him . I ended up at the hospital and the doctors there told me to report him to the board . I know God will deal with him I even thought about suing this clinic for discrimination and mistreatment..still thinking about it . He needs not to be in practice such a horrible doctor.

Let me start off by saying the doctors are great but the issue is with front desk. Absolutely horrific. No social skills whatsoever, they raise their voice at patients all the time. I have personally experienced that. Very rude and it really is unacceptable no one should be treated like that
