We tried the chef's table for the first time and all five of us were blown away by this experience. The chef's table consists of a 5-course tasting menu for private groups of up to 6-7 guests, but the amount of food you will receive will be way beyond what you expect. Everything from taste, service, ambience, wine pairing, creativity and the experience overall, especially the fun interaction with the head chef himself who personally explains each dish to you, were top notch and well worth what you pay for! We had such a great time and will definitely return regularly even though it's not close to me. Their bartender is also super talented and can make any delicious cocktails or drinks to your likings. HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this place out if you're ever in the area! You won't regret it!
This place is beautiful inside, they have a swing at the entrance, there’s a tree, a patio outside, bar seating available too.nnWe made reservations and weee seated fairly quickly. The staff was friendly, they brought us everything we needed, the food also arrived in a timely manner.nnWe tried the Thai curry, the flavour was definitely there, however the texture of the chicken was to my liking there was a lot of fat.nnThe Mac and cheese was decadent, so rich and filling with cheese.nnThe Chicken Sandwich was huge, seasoned very well, again the texture of large pieces of friend fat was not to my liking. Otherwise the sandwich was good.nnOverall, we enjoyed your Time here! Want to try their brunch menu.
I took my friend to Habitat for Sunday brunch to celebrate her birthday. We both had high expectations after reading the reviews.nnSadly, our first experience did not meet my expectations. My friend enjoyed every bite of her quiche with potatoes. I ordered the chicken and waffles, but I was disappointed with the chicken. The only highlight of my meal was the spring mix lettuce and the waffles.nnThe service at Habitat is top-notch, and the decor is chic and modern. I would definitely go back to try their dinner menu in the future.
Date night with the wife and had an amazing experience at Habitat. It was our first time as it was recommended to us.nnThe restaurant had a great aesthetic and ambience. The food was awesome. The drinks were good. Due to the LCBO strike they didn’t have my initial drinking ingredients Midnight empress - Empress Gin on hand but the second option Crimson Paloma was solid.nnWe ordered the Coconut Ebi Mayo and Ceviche for Apps and Miso Carbonara and Paella for mains! They probably have one of my favourite Paella’s in town. Overall great experience.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch with two other people and was seated into a two seater plus an extra chair pulled to the table. We had booked a reservation on OpenTable one week in advance, however, when we arrived we were told there were only bar seats available even though we picked table seating. The staff saw hour hesitancy then offered the solution to give us a two seater plus chair which we were grateful and opted for. The decor and vibe indoors was very nice and clean, perfect for a brunch place. We got the chicken and waffles, HS classic and shakshuka all to share and overall they were good but nothing spectacular. We all agreed that the favourite was chicken and waffles, and I especially love the twist of bibimap sauce on coleslaw it worked so well! The service after the table issue was also spectacular as well. I’d like to come back and try their dinner menu!
