Gyoko Sushi & Bar

I had an amazing experience at Gyoko Sushi. The food was truly outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive. The drinks were well-prepared and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great sushi experience.Food: 5/5

Great sushi spot. The restaurant atmosphere is warm, inviting/welcoming, and very enjoyable. The servers are always very friendly and amicable. The food is consistent and tastes great and fresh. I love the vibe of this restaurant, it is also so clean. Cleanest public washrooms I have ever used. Thank you Gyoko!

A great place for Sushi and a few other Japanese food options. Moderately priced, one of the best sushis we have had so far. A favourite place for our family, if we happen to be in toronto we live in ottawa, Gyoko Sushi is on our list of places to drop by. Great ambience, small but cozy place, wonderful service.

Gyoko sushi is among my favourite sushi places in Toronto. Probably the best. A cozy and welcoming jewel in the east. We tried the Godzilla deep fried for the first time and boy that’s a big roll of sushi. filling and tasty. Pretty darn good. Our all time favourite though, is the smoked salmon dragon roll. With cucumber, avocado and cream cheese. Miso soup and gyoza soups were a fantastic way to start the feast. Highly recommended.

Delicious sushi. Fast service. Yum! My eyes bulged out of my skull when the server brought over CHOCOLATES with the bill. She noticed and brought me MORE! What an Angel go here.

Great fresh sashimi and sushi with decent prices. Service was great and friendly. Because it is a small restaurant, the seating is close to each other but I guess you could opt out if it is too uncomfortable for you.

Overall alright, but the rice was slightly undercooked and a bit too dried. Sashimi was fresh. Would've been at least a 4 stars if the rice was done right.

Fairly standard sushi overall - not bad, but not amazing either which is expected at this price point. The amount of fish in each piece of sushi was fairly generous, and the overall vibe/ambience inside was really nice. The server was very pleasant and didn't rush or constantly check-in on us. This is likely one of the better options for sushi at this price point and within this area of the city.

Small Sashimi, Sushi, Maki Party Tray - Can't decide what to eat? This platter is perfect for you. Sashimi was thick but melt in your mouth, sushi had a good ratio between fish and rice, and the rolls were comforting as well.
