Great Floors Brantford

Very disapointed in the lack of service. Walked around while all staff sat behind the counter talking. We were not the only customers in the store getting the same experience. We did go and ask for help then were quickly shown where it was no gesture to help us just went back to sit down. As a first time in this store in a while i say we will not return.

This business has a very unfair policy with respect to returning unused product or compensating customers accordingly. Purchased a small quantity of flooring. Overestimated what I would use and attempted to return an UNOPENED package of flooring either for refund or some form of compensation, similar to my experience with the larger Big Box stores with whom I have previously dealt. I was politely told that it is not their policy to refund or provide any form of restitution for unused product. As I was told this was a special order, not normally stocked and their suppliers "nail us" for shipping costs refund etc for returned goods. I politely told them that I was not concerned about how the suppliers were nailing you but how you are nailing me! I understand their position BUT I walk away with 200 dollars of flooring I will never use and a real bad taste in my mouth. I would have been happy if they partially compensated me in some way. Bill me for the value of good minus what it costs to ship it back to the supplier. Offer a voucher of some value for a future purchase. As it stands now I might attempt to sell it online for a fraction of what I paid for it. But I will never shop at Peter Simpson again......and I don't really get that a business would want a customer writing this kind of review online. Surely I am not the first person that has had this experience with this business. My recommendation is to buy your flooring from some other business that is large enough to properly and fairly handle returned goods.

The staff were incredibly helpful in selecting a floor to compliment my new kitchen. The installers did an amazing job as well. Very happy overall - will definitely recommend Great Floors.

When we purchased our house in St. George we knew we wanted the carpet replaced with hardwood but didn't exactly know what we were looking for. We stopped in at Great Floors Brantford and met sales associate Dean McAllister. He gave us several options and explained the difference and the pros and cons of hardwood versus engineered hardwood...we settled on the engineered hardwood. Our installation timeline was tight but Dean assured us it could be done. True to his word..it was done on time and we couldn't be happier! Not a person has walked into the house without commenting on our beautiful floors. Thanks Dean and Great Floors Brantford.

Great Service ! We recently purchased hardwood flooring from Chad at Simpson's Great Floors. We absolutely love the hardwood that we picked it looks fabulous. Chad was kind enough to price match the flooring with a price on a similar flooring we found out of town. He thoroughly explained that because this was a non-stock item that we could not return it so we were to be as accurate as possible with the square footage of the room. We are very pleased with Simpson's Great Floors as we've used them several times before for different flooring needs throughout our houses. I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in flooring.
