You'll discover a true getaway at this large KOA: 885 acres flush with hardwoods, pines and granite outcroppings. Fish for trout in the stocked pond. Rent canoes and rowboats for the campground's small lake or take them to area lakes for the day. KOA staff occupies kids with crafts, hikes and other fun twice a week. Adults can lounge by the pool or play the on-site par-3 golf course. Take a steamship tour on the Muskoka Lakes. Visit Santa's summer home in Bracebridge. The ski trails were in decent shape and the right level of terrain for the beginning group we were with. It was not very busy and ski and boot rentals was quick and easy. We will be back!

Great camping feel and atmosphere. Lots of big trees. Fishing pond. Two pools. Big sites. Well laid out and easy to park RV. A bit of highway noise off in the distance. Reasonably priced.

The park itself is only okay. There's only 1 washroom in the 'barn' and it's not cleaned regularly. The 1 owner we were talking to was incredibly rude and arrogant! Never smiled and he stood there all puffy with his hands on his hips when we asked a question. The question was more of a "so can u.." He was NOT accommodating at all..didn't apologize when he couldn't help us. It's not a quiet park! There's an airport near by and the helicopters and planes come over the park very low and u hear the constant humming of traffic. We couldn't find anywhere to recycle. We were planning on coming back..not now! His rudeness and arrogance was enough to make us never want to come back! Never again!

This place was great with extremely friendly staff and clean facilities and sites. Some complaints about a lack of kids activities by those looking to get rid of their kids but my three had a great time riding their bikes, swimming in the pool, playing in the playgrounds and campfires (doing campground activities). There is lots to see and do in the area as well. The airport nearby had the odd propeller plane circling around but it was largely unnoticeable. Sites were large and spacious more like a provincial park. Seasonal folks were very friendly as well. Not sure about wifi as I carry my own. Dogs can swim in the pond and there is facilities for dogs. My only knock is they should build a second washroom near the back of the campground. The washroom was full at times and a hike from the back of the park. Another bonus would be a fenced dog area for off leash.
