My parents booked a cabin for the weekend to share with my husband and myself. The cabin we had (Chipmunk) was relatively well-maintained considering the age. My parents had a bedroom and my husband shared a pull-out couch. The couch itself is a bit dated and the springs were poking through the mattress, but it was fine once you layered a duvet on top. The washroom was exceptionally nice (new shower / tub with jets) with tons of storage space. The kitchenette was well-stocked and clean. The only downside was the beach, which wasn't really a swimming beach. It would be better for people who want to use the recreational items (canoes, kayaks, paddle boats). While there is technically a fee to use the equipment ($25 - 27 per person), there was nobody at the "office" so you could have used the equipment without an issue. You've got to give the young people running the resort credit for trying to bring the site back to its former glory. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We might come back if we were staying in Bracebridge, though I would prefer something closer to the lake.

Amazing weekend and amazing people! My self and 3 others went camping here this past weekend and cant wait to come back. If camping i really suggest taking the Beachfront or Falls View, the washrooms arnt all that but what can u really ask for? your camping lol. Ask for Andrew, he will take care of you. If you enjoy being out in the water the water is great and there is a 7 km treck down the river to another set of falls that you can portage to. I cant wait to come back! See you soon!

Not worth the one star. This place is horrible. It's dirty, run down and just plain disgusting, The website is an absolute farse. We were there 10 mins and thought "Jason" was gonna come out of the lake after us. Do not stay here. All of the bad reviews are the truth. We lost our money but I didn't care. Not safe place to stay. Very creepy. Go to KOA gravenhurst best camping ever.

Please do not listen to there Web site the reviews are 100 % accurate we went to check in room stank toilet was filth doors would not lock very very poor place it neds a handful of up grades after they offered us a up grade it was still a stop down we had to threaten with better business Bureau in order to get half our money back stay way
