Very tasty food! The tuna ceviche was VERY good, and every taco I tried didn't disappoint. Portions are a bit small however. Nice atmosphere, right on the water. Usually quite a bit of a wait, and both times I visited the staff was WAY off on when our table would be ready. Management: please introduce a text notification process so your customers can make the most of their visit to Port Carling. It's frustrating to have to wait around the restaurant when that time could be spent checking out the town.

Restaurant was out of rice and beans over lunch. Portion sizes are very small and offer very poor value for money. Seems that they are determined to rip off the Toronto cottagers...
Tacos seemed apex 6 cm in diameter with a single (small) taco costing $6 with no sides. Fish taco had a tiny sliver of fish, shrimp taco same. Restaurant is shabby with cheap cutlery and plastic plates.
Poor service. Each of us ordered various tacos and instead of plating the ordered by person, they just brought it by type of taco as they were coming from the kitchen so not everyone received their order at the same time.
Will certainly NOT be back especially since Turtle Jack which is next door offers much better setting, ambiance, food and value

Second time here. It was recommended by a friend of ours down the lake. First time was great, but we were a bit a enamoured. Second time was very lack lustre. We were originally excited to find a joint which rivalled our favourite Mexican restaurant in Toronto, but not after the second go. Food is average and atrociously expensive even for Muskoka (250ml of guacamole with chips was $17, a rocks-glass size margarita is $12). Plates are plastic with hotdog tissue napkins out of a counter dispenser. We're fortunate enough to look at the prices here and laugh, and pay it. But not for a family or tourists.
It's great once to say you've been there, it's cute and kitschy, but not a second or subsequent time.
We'll come as a last option, but will make the effort into Bracebridge instead.

Great Mexican food and perfect spot on water. Pricey and small menu. Worth it for the view. Seasonal for summer only.

Semi novel cottage country "ethnic" fare. Lots of frozen seafood in the dishes.
Service is friendly and their overflow to Duke's is a nice touch. Not unhappy but definitely not a foodie place.
