Fun little place to get schwifty. Helpful friendly staff off Bass Lake. Good food at a reasonable price. Dedicated in classic roadhouse style and clean washrooms. A popular spot can be very busy at peak times. Signs of a good place and worth the wait.

Fantastic friendly service. I mean I just love them!!!! Decent sized menu, lots of pub grub, fried food which is why you come here after all. And the food portions are so generous you will waddle out of here with a big happy comfy smile. Also allowed to have your pooch in the beer garden/picnic area outside.

I had been taken to this place not against my will but out of deference to my kids who made the executive decision this past October. We were on the way back from a lovely trip to see the fall colours further North. Our food was very fresh and served hot and with extra good portions. The manager was there to check in with us too. That would be Trish. She is an asset to her profession and puts you first. I wish them more success at Bass Lake. Nice character and rustic ambiance to boot.

Massive portion size. Excellent pickerel as well as fish and chips. Wonderful, personable staff!

Place smells like old beer. Table was dirty had to ask someone to clean it. Beer was flat. Food was tasting poor. I got baked potato got something that looked like it was from yesterday and not baked but cooked, not eatable On top of that i got charged extra $4 for that tomato when i kindly reminded the waiter that I didn’t get fully loaded option, she started arguing with me. Removed the charge only after manager stepped in.

Every time I've eaten there, the food has always been delicious. Even a simple burger. And the smiles are plentiful from the friendly staff.Food: 5/5

My husband and I had a delightful experience here. We ordered the chicken club and the Chipotle chicken wrap - both were excellent - and the serving of fries was massive.

Food is usually good. Service has its ups and downs. Don't waste your time using their online ordering app, we've never once had it ready on time, even when ordered hours ahead. They usually start making it when you arrive to pickup, so plan on waiting.

Update post! Decided to order take out as covid has sitting down closed. Really a good price point for 5 meals. Portion is big, lots of wings BUT my only issue was I didn't know there were veggies on the bottom underneath the paper under my hot wingsheads up would have been great, even if they became hot veggies. Many put in a ziplock as a side. The fries where hot and lots of them. Good Philly Sandwich, Ribs and Calamari. Will definitely be back.
