Fun setting and comfortable atmosphere—feels like a cross between an English pub and a sports bar. Good food and drink selection. The burger was so tasty and cooked to perfection—great fries! My wife order chicken tenders which she first offered one to me but then she finished them together with the pub chips—I guess that says it all. We want to go back very soon!

Im in town a few times per year working at the hospital and love great pizza. I asked a few of the staff where a good spot for pizza was and they recommended Governors Pub. I was excited to see they had New York style thinner crust as this is my favorite style. I ordered a large 3 topping. Very disappointing , completely average , pretty much tasteless pizza. Very little toppings, maybe 15 pepperonis on the whole pizza. I also asked that the toppings and cheese be run out to the very edge of the pizza and the lady on the phone laughed a bit but said she would relay the message. Didn’t happen as you can see in the pic. Was expecting a bit more for $24 pizza. Don’t waste your $$

Took my in-laws here for lunch and we all enjoyed our food. The pub chips are made in house and have a nice crunch. The food came out fast and hot. However, when we got a refill on our unsweetened tea the server gave us all sweet tea. She was nice about fix it. It was slow when we went, just missed the lunch rush. Server seemed a little distracted talking to someone at the bar which took awhile to get the check but overall definitely worth it and the hour drive. Will be going back.

This was a first visit for myself and a friend. We both ordered the hamburger steak special. The plate had a slice of Texas toast bread topped with mashed potatoes topped with hamburger steak topped with grilled onions and brown gravy. I loved this idea! It also came with a side of green beans. We both ordered sweet tea. The hamburger steak stack was all delicious! The green beans looked good BUT they had vinegar in them which almost ruined them. I put plenty of pepper on them but it barely made them tolerable. My friend didn't eat her green beans at all due to the vinegar. If they had used some liquid smoke it would have been perfect. The sweet tea was delicious!!! Our waitress was very good! They were busy for a Saturday afternoon with couples and families and some singles. I'll give them another chance but won't get green beans if they continue to put vinegar in them. They could offer it but shouldn't just put it in them. There were lots of TV screens with assorted sports on. They have a bar. The overall atmosphere was good.

We have been several times and always had great service. Today, however, was lacking. We seated ourselves, which is typical, but between tables that had not been cleaned. During the time that we waited for menus, a waitress passed our table no less than 5 times without acknowledging us. A table past us got their food one basket at a time. The gentleman across the aisle from us asked for a refill of his diet on one pass by. He did not get it within the 15 minutes before we got up and left. Two ladies at another table asked for waters. They received 2 dirty glasses of water with no ice to speak of after waiting several minutes, so they left. We never got menus, or had the opportunity to put in even a drink order. I really hope this was a rare exception to the rule.

I took a friend here for lunch,we both had the hamburger steak with onion gravy,and mashed potatoes, with green beans. The beans were seasoned well but we both could have had them without the vinegar flavor. We just put more salt,pepper on them. Their sweet tea was awesome and our waitress was great! I'll go back, just won't order green beans.

I like the food, the drinks are very good, the atmosphere is good.

This was a nice lunch spot. Our server was fabulous! Food was REALLY good and they had several beers to choose from which we personally enjoyed. The food came out quick and the prices were fair. Overall good place if you're looking for a quick bite and a cold one.

Excellent service. The food was tasty. There are a big selection of pasta dishes all are homemade. The local has a good cleanliness. There is a parking rear as well. Free wifi

Great customer service. Wait for food was a little long, but they were swamped at noon on a Sunday. And the food was totally worth the wait. Krystal our server was apologetic and so attentive, it totally made up for the wait.Food: 5/5
