Beautiful location, the inner dining area is very nice but the patio is a must on a nice day. Great view of the fiddle and the harbour. Food was really good and prices were very reasonable. Service was 10/10
Fantastic views from the patio. Our waitress Jacky was amazing. Food was good but my plate could of been warmer. Martini's were super tasty. Overall was a good experience but somewhat pricy probably due to the location.
Really nice restaurant food but in a really weird setting. The tables feel like you are sitting in a cafeteria but the food is fancy. We had the special which was blackened salmon with blueberry . We feel like for the price of the food we should have gotten more veggies atleast. I understand its for presentation but i was hungry 2 hours later.
I had a pleasant dining experience here, but unfortunately, I did have a case of food poisoning because of it, which dropped my review to 1 star. The server was nice and helped my table decide our orders. The food was quite nice as well aside from the food poisoning; I ordered the chowder and the mussels. We suspect it was the mussels that may have caused an issue, since others at my table ordered the chowder and they were fine. The view at this location is pleasant, though not recommended for viewing the sunset as the angle of the restaurant doesn't permit it for indoor dining. Overall, it was an alright experience, but getting sick was very unfortunate. I caution others if they decide to try the mussels, though I'd hope that no one else will get sick from it. Parking: Free parking on site, with lots of spaces available.
The restaurant is in a great spot. You can enjoy the breathtaking view from the terrace and enjoy food. The staff were amazing. Highly recommended place to eat and enjoy nature.
I had an absolutely fantastic creamy seafood chowder, a solid chicken sandwich with delicious French fries, and a very tasty blueberry cake with strudel topping for desert. Plus they have some tables with nice views of the harbour.
This place has a very high rating, but maybe just when compared to other places around Sydney. In real life, for us, it was a very mediocre place. Let's start with benefits - available close parking, nice atmosphere with a view, and super friendly and professional staff. However, the food is not as good. The lobster was good, but the ribs were boiled I guess and then smothered in bbq sauce before they were served. The burgers were also just fine, nothing extra ordinary. Maybe you can come here to enjoy a drink, but not for a bigger meal in my opinion.
The chowder and seafood trio were delicious! They also have some gluten free options, such as bread Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bun for the lobster roll
The restaurant is beautiful and had a really nice atmosphere. Service overall was pretty good except for the fact we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. I'll give them a pass since it seemed like there were two big events that they were busy with. Food was pretty good once it got to our table. The crab cakes and the chowder were very good. The fish and chips were alright fish was perfect but chips were overcooked. Don't order the entrees. They're the most expensive thing on the menu and the quantity of food doesn't match up to the price. Overall I'll come again if I get the chance. Hopefully next time the kitchen will be faster with our food.
Server lacked attention when we ordered 2 lobster meals. We had to ask for extra napkins and they didn’t provide a hand bowl or bucket for the garbage. We’ve been to other restaurants that provided these extras when eating a whole lobster meal. Butter cooled off and was quite salty tasting. Meal was ok but not the best lobster we’ve eaten before while in the Maritimes.
