food was okay, the old chef was lovely and kind but when I ordered the triple BBQ they just gave me 2 instead of 3, but later on they gave me in a separate dishes. it’s a bit confusing to read the menu

This is the most terrible Asian restaurant ever. I ordered Wanton soup noodle. Look at the pic I took. They just gave me an instant noodle.

A nice small clean restaurant in dee why  the price is a little bit high but it’s worth it because thenportion that they make is also big

I've been here twice now while visiting family in Dee Why. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly.

The delivery is terrible and took 2 hours from ordering online to receiving dinner. When I called at one hour they said the driver is leaving now which then meant my dinner was driving around to other deliveries for an hour before getting to me. It was Mother's Day night and they had advertised this on their FB, so if they were planning for a busy night why did you not put more delivery drivers on to account for this.  The food is actually great when you get it quickly not late which makes things soggy. The beef and black bean is great and if you want something spicy choose a Szechuan dish.  Food is 9/10 but when delivery is involved it ruins things for them.

Hearth of dee why chinese restaurant. It's  been here quite for a while.

Food wise, fantastic, but service wise, not sure where the problem was. Sign on door seeking wait service staff, but problem appeared to be in the back kitchen. I didn't ask how long it might be and waited outside for what I thought was a reasonable amount of time. Then I waited inside for approximately the same amount of time. Soy sauce chicken, boneless & skinless, was the fastest dish - I thought the Chinese Broccoli would have been faster than it was. Food quality is quite good :

Can’t tell what it’s like because I’m still waiting for my food over an hour and a half after I ordered it. Won’t be making that mistake again. Took over 2 hours in the end. The food was like warm and when I rang them again they weren’t interested in helping me out.

So happy my partner and I stumbled upon this wee gem. We love it. Great little byo resturant, nice and clean, quick service and great food. I love the wonton noodle soup, but all the usual favourites here are delicious.
