Gordy's Market

This was a good busy little local grocery, with great meat sales. Now it is a ghost town. No specials worth going in for, and extremely high regular prices for everything else. If they even have anything in stock. I'm sure it will be closed down soon.

The dry and frozen goods are perfectly fine, I'll visit to buy plenty of those, but whenever I browse the produce section, their selection is... Iffy at best. Just a little corner, really. And every time I have been there their produce is never at peak freshness, cucumbers and zucchinis are always slightly soft, for example, the small tomatoes are slightly wrinkly for another. The shelves are rarely entirely full. The sad thing is that it's more or less the only viable grocery store on the Northside, unless you count Kwik Trip. If I want very fresh produce, I need to drive downtown to Festival.

Gets a 2 and not because of the great people that work there! Shelves are empty and have been pretty bare for almost a year. Sounds like new owners soon though. 🤞

High prices. Alot of empty shelves. Some of the meat was going bad. Musty smell when you walk in. Place looks like it's deteriorating. Some of the workers there are kind of friendly though.

Not much on the shelves. Meat is fresh. Bad/ rotten onion.
