Imagine putting a $28.50 price tag on an item that is *clearly* riddled with stains - just because it’s considered an “expensive” brand. Which regardless, shouldn’t even matter at the end of the day - given the fact that every single one of these items is donated from the public!nnThis is not the first time nor will it be the last I’m sure that I’ve seen this happen at this particular location / Goodwill stores in general. They are blatantly hiking the prices up for items that they personally deem as valuable, regardless of their condition!nnP.S. This location pulls *all* of the items with the tags that are on “sale” that day… This was brought to my attention when I arrived at opening & the manager was telling the employees on the floor to pull all items with red tags - which were the ones that were suppose to be on sale? Huh.nnAfter overhearing this, I asked the employee with the rack closest to me if I just heard them correctly & proceeded to confirm that red tags are suppose to be on sale though, right? She then snarkily replied “yeah, if you can find them”.nnDo better, Goodwill.nn
Showed up at 15 minutes to close. The door is locked, but then we get encouraged to go through the exit by the security guard.nWhy don’t you just keep the front door open if you still allow people in?nThen we go in to check one section, toys, this security guard follows us, yells at us that we have 9 minutes left and “We SHOULDNT be in this section! It to close to closing and we shouldn’t be in this area.”nAren’t you open? Don’t you want my money?nWe put down the three toys we had as she chased us out of the section that we “weren’t suppose to be in”n9 minutes before closing still mean your open and your security guard needs to understand what retail is. I was treated unfairly because someone has a problem with their job and wnat to take it out on their customers.nnShe is a problem and until you realize it she will continue to hurt other people and disrespect other people.
I don’t quite understand the pricing. Not value for money for some categories given the product quality. On that note, I wanted to buy yoga mats, found two of those but didn’t purchase as the quality wasn’t good. Maybe some stricter quality checks are needed. That being said, I was impressed with how clean and well organized the store was during my recent visit. Kudos for it.
I'm sorry, I do like shopping here and the staff is great, but the pricing decisions are bewildering. Identical items will be $5 and $20. Common household items cost more than buying new.nnFor example, two near identical strings of christmas lights are $6.50 and $15. The same string lights are $12 new, but on sale everywhere right now for $6. Why on earth would I buy used lights for more than new? And almost all of the strings of lights there right now are $15+. But two weeks ago I got a huge box of 200 lights for $3.50 at this location. What gives?nnI've found great deals here, but the pricing is enough to make me want to stop coming in.
My favorite place to shop. The items are very affordable .
