My dad go buy original lays today by mistake he bought cheesy garlic bread instead since he don't really know english he didn't read properly he want switch them to original one they say no to him I know on receipt say no returns but he don't want return he want switch to other ones ... I only tell shame of workers there and managers ! We don't have covid we not leve on streets ! We just have a kid at home who is picky ! Is not like we spit on bag we not even take it off from the bag !! So idk ‍ why not switch.. I work at canadian tire and we do that no problemnnSHAME ON YOU PEOPLE !!! NEVER WILL SHOP THERE AGAIN I WILL GO DOLLAR TREE BY CANADIAN TIRE
It’s not fun to be followed by staff. And we know they were. Because I watched her pretend to count things. I’d drop items in purpose. Pick things up, put them in a different location. I ran to a new aisle. She was there, so i immediately went into a different aisle. Guess who was there. I don’t steal. I’m a long time customer of this business. Because im indigenous, im profiled. I asked her why she’s following me. She said im not. I said then why are you everywhere I am. I’ll start recording my interactions. I have a photo of this lady. Sge was pretending to count crackers. Yes she is East Indian

I've shopped this Dollarama for years and always found my own things because it's well organized and has lots of stock. Today I spoke to the store manager, Annabelle, because I needed a large number of connecting tiles for my balcony. She was kind enough to check in the back once I took everything from her floor display. Then when I asked if she thought a nearby store might have them she called and checked for me. She was very pleasant, helpful and willing to go that extra mile. I find the folks at this store really pleasant. The store is always well stocked, clean and organized.
Security stalks you the second you walk in, seemingly targeting people who dress alternatively or look different. Within seconds of walking in the door they call ‘Security code F’ over the speaker, indicating that they’ve profiled you. They will follow you down the aisles and make it impossible to shop. I buy a lot of craft supplies and have shopped here for years, and they treat me like a criminal every time I enter. Staff are rude and will push past without saying excuse me, and block aisles to stock shelves with seemingly no care for customers. The one cashier who is often there is at worst in the throws of utter misery and at best severely annoyed to be ringing through your items.nThey need more cashiers as I have to wait in line nearly every visit.nThank goodness there’s a dollar tree in the area now because the appalling and consistently rude service has made me want to never return.
