Golden Moon Chinese Food

Large portion size and delicious flavors. We had a rough weekend and decided to SkipTheDishes and stay in. Glad I chose this place! Each dish was outstanding with fresh veg and large pieces of tender pork and beef. There was a lot more sauce in the entrees than I prefer, but I used it to top the chicken fried rice, so it evened out. I loved the Shanghai noodles with crispy stir fried cabbage, nothing soggy or bland. We'll have this again!

This is THE BEST Chinese food I have ever had in Calgary for sure! I ordered delivery and it was very fast and arrived hot and fresh. The flavour is amazing in everything and they use real chicken (not the processed little white chunks lots of places use) a variety of fresh veggies and the sauces are not greasy at all. The pieces of sliced pork in the dishes are thick & tender and fall apart in your mouth. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Generally alright. Ordered on skip the dishes. The packaging is very nice. Not a single drop spilled and not messy at all. I'd say there's room for improvement. The wanton soup also has a lot of veggies, shrimp and chicken as well. I'd appreciate it more if it's just simple wantons and chicken soup, instead of a little bit of everything.

Pretty good food. Rice was average but the wonton soup, spring rolls (veggie only) and wings were fantastic. Selection is that of any Chinese western place. Decent prices and proportions. Takeout and delivery only. Seems family owned, service is usually pretty good and food comes out fast.

You would think an overabundance of Chinese food restaurants would lead to a spike in quality due to competition, but apparently this restaurant isn't concerned with that. The prices are great for the portion sizes, but the food is flavorless and unimaginative. Sliced BBQ Pork had huge chunks of fat in it and no hoisin from what I could taste. The Chicken in Curry Sauce was better, but not by much - sauce was watery and bitter, due to the lack of salt combating the curry. At least the veggies tasted freshly made. The "Special" Fried Rice was not special at all - overcooked shrimp and pork chunks hard as nails. I'll pass on this place and try one of the other 7000 Chinese restaurants in this city.
