Golden Gate Restaurant

Food is acceptable, but the staff sucks. They promised pick up would be ready in 20 minutes. It took very nearly an hour, and they were entirely unapologetic. I don't care how busy you are, be honest about how long it's going to take. It also seems like they are prioritizing skip the dishes over other customers. I won't be returning, and advise others give them a miss.

Horrible service. We pre-ordered our dinner for Christmas eve. Order was placed at noon for a 6pm pick up. We waited for an hour and 15 minutes past 6pm for our order. They were fulfilling skip the dish orders before any phone orders. Will never order from here again.

If you are expecting standard but good Chinese food and good service, you will not be disappointed.

Not typically a fan of Chinese food and will usually go for Vietnamese or Japanese, but this place is my one exception. I bring loads of people here and everyone agrees that this is the best in the city. The Cantonese chowmein and the wonton soup are my favourite and highly recommended!
