We had an excellent stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff was able to recommend us a place to go to find a late night meal. We had a great breakfast the next morning, and again the staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort itself was very nice and well laid out. Would absolutely return.

Clearly an older resort that's undergoing updates. Room was nicely updated, but bathroom was 70s-80s (although in acceptable shape). Didn't really use any of the "resort" parts, but it looked like there was a variety of services/amenities avaliable. Billing, check in, etc were all fine. For the reasonable price charged, I'd stay here again.

We're frequent visitors here, it's a very relaxing place. Adjacent to a mountain with mildly challenging paths for hikers and mountain bikes. Also close to Stowe's paved bike path which crosses over ten foot bridges and past fields, through first and by inns and restaurants. Hotel provides bikes, but they could use a tune up. The chain would slip going up hills on the paved tourist path. I would not take these bikes on the mountain - they are not intended for that purpose and we were told as much. There are ponds stocked with fish (I believe) but fishing polls were always out for repair and not available throughout our stay Despite the above, is a nice place to stay and we will return. Throughout our stay, they were performing maintenance and renovations on the grounds. They are working hard and I think it will be even nicer next year. Tip: take the breakfast plan. The breakfasts at their dining hall are wonderful and the ingredients are from local farms. PS. The WiFi is excellent. Everyone in our party was streaming videos in the evenings without stutter. It is free to guests.

We went late April so the off season and they were doing renovations. Since it looked like they were just starting our room seemed dated but was clean and nice. Nice view of the pond and it had a towel warmer in the bathroom! That was awesome. Get the breakfast add on. It was delicious and worth it.

Mountain bikers Heaven! Ride out your back door right into Cady Hill. Try the Florence trail, probably the best trail in Stowe. Rooms are great, attentive staff, highly recommended!
