Field Guide

This was perfect place to stay to explore Stowe and the surrounding areas! We loved our stay at Field Guide Lodge. It is a very aesthetic hotel with everything on theme. The service was amazing! We had a number to text if we needed anything and always got a prompt response. There was lots of room around the hotel for relaxing in the evening and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I just stayed at the Field Guide Lodge and had a perfect experience. We came with our two dogs and stayed in one of their dog friendly cabins. Usually dog friendly accommodations at hotels aren't great; the room can be musty, or small, or otherwise treated as an afterthought. Our room was large, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted for a comfortable experience, not to mention that it was in a very convenient location on the property for easy access. Really perfect. Add in the fact that the FGL itself is super well maintained and within walking distance of Main Street and plenty of restaurants and things to do, and it could not have been a better experience. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future.

Had great stay and it was my rescue pup’s first hotel stay since adoption. The staff was accommodating and the room was clean and comfy, with modern, spacious bathroom and bath products. Breakfast exceeded expectations with quality ingredients and the amenities in public areas are so fun!nnLocation is great with easy access to food, drink and recreation path by foot, and short drive to local hikes.

If you want to enjoy your trip to Stowe, you HAVE to stay here. We felt so at home. We ordered smores at the bar and made them around the fire on night 1. On night 2 we ordered drinks and popcorn chicken while we played a late night game of scrabble in the lobby! The staff was incredible shout out to Lexi. They also have the CUTEST decor and vintage ski/winter clothing in the lobby/restaurant. There is a continuous loop of 80’s movies that play while you’re enjoying drinks and snacks at the bar. I could go on and on. It’s one of my all time favorite stays I’ve ever had. A piece of comfort tucked in the mountains.

We were headed for camping when Stowe mountain road got washed out. The staff hurried and shifted things to accommodate us. We ran into a personal issue during our stay, and management was very helpful and understanding. This is already our go to place for comfort, style and its uniqueness.nThe old fashioned level of care, has made us loyal for life.nThank you for being exceptional!
