Georges Golden Fleece Restaurant

Food is tasty, fish was crunchy but I'm not quite sure about their "2 piece halibut" label , perhaps they could tell us in ounces much each thing is. The two piece for $19.50 on the menu felt misleading as they were very small one fillet piece cut in half ?. Other places would label it as 1 piece for $15 to $20$. They have new pricing as well when we visited.

Fantastic little fish and chip place. Great food and an exceptional amount for what you pay for. Lots of seating, the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Staff are fantastic and very friendly. We will definitely be eating here again!

Great place..really enjoyed my lunch we were served by Tessa who was very friendly and always smiling and always checking if we need anything. Our food came on time and fresh along with the salad. We ordered gravy with the fries and was to really good.

I was really impressed. Never been before so I was unsure what to expect. Young lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. Would go back there just to see her again. Food was fantastic, good portion and tastes great. Will definitely be back.

Very disappointed in this place...refused at the door for pick-up. Planned to visit here early in the week to get refused at the door to order. Very poor planning on this businesses part. Will NEVER visit this restaurant EVER!!! Shame on them, they lost a great customer!!!

Went for a drive up north, searched for fish&chips, ended up going there. Place was very clean, and the service was amazing. Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable 'Tessa' The fish and chips was so good, everything we ate was very fresh and tasty. Definitely worth it.

Awesome fish and chips spot. The fish is lightly breaded amd the portion of fries was huge. The staff are friendly and have a good knowledge of the menu.

I was in Welland and my buddy Tony and we ordered fish and chips...they were ok and small but he told me about this place in Barrie. Fish was bigger and better. I'm coming back! And a better price!!Food: 5/5
