Great breakfast joint in Barrie Super friendly and welcoming staff, service was exceptionally quick, food was reasonably priced and tasted great. Would definitely come here again

Service is fantastic here, the staff is attentive and kind. The atmosphere is warm however it's very loud at peak times, go early or after lunch to avoid it. Food is great with the exception of the home fries which I find to be dry. But you can substitute sides I recommend grilled tomatos

Great breakfast place. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are excellent. I never feel like I've over eaten, but at the same time I always leave feeling comfortable. I like this because I dont feel like i'm wasting food, especially in this day in age. The waitresses here are always friendly, fast and professional. Food is good, I've only ever had breakfast, but the eggs and hash browns are good and the pancakes are nice and fluffy.

Went for breakfast, coffee was not great, food was not great either, for some reason my plate was wet. Peameal bacon was wet too. Like it sat under a lid for ten minutes and gathered condensation on the plate before it was served to us. The potatoes/home fries were not good. Full of skin, no seasoning/salt, very bland and tasteless. I am surprised to see positive reviews on this website, as they couldn't get breakfast right. There was also an issue with our bill. I went with a friend and asked for different bills. They put all his extra's on my bill. When I tried explaining it to the hostess Cammy, she just didn't get what I was telling her, she was condescending when she spoke with me, and in the end, let him walk away with out paying for his extras milk and side sausage order, but charged me for it. This morning, I called Gibby's to try and get the hostesses' name, which the lady who answered the phone told me, but when i told her i was going to put a review up, she immediately got cold, was no longer helpful, and refused to give me her name. And in the end, hung up on me ?!? All in all, poor experience, from the not so great home fries, eggs and toast, to poor service, mix up with the bills, and the poor attitude this morning when I tried to get things rectified. Will never go to this restaurant again, and/or recommend to anyone,

This place I feel gets overlooked. Diner style restaurants are not as common anymore. Gibby Gs is a very welcoming location and the prices are more than fair. Highly recommend the turkey club and the soup of the day is normally always on point.Food: 5/5

Could not accomodate for a party of 6 including a 90 year old for a birthday despite having multiple tables to seat 6 with 2-3 people at them. This is just poor space managment and was very dissapointing.

The breakfast was great and the service was fast. The dining room is large and can hold a lot of people. The menu has plenty of choices and the large breakfast was huge and more then you would need. My coffee was great and always topped up. We will definitely be back many times.

I went in after my mom told me the lunch was amazing so we wanted to try the breakfast.....boy was that disappointing! First your waiters are amazing and super friendly so ill give you 2 stars for that but your breakfast was one of the worst ive had in the city Very lightly deep fried homefries to point barely edible, microwaves quality bacon that's stiff as cardboard, undercooked eggs all 3 plates sunny side scummy, scrambled greasy, over easy slimy & the only thing good was your rye toast....also 3 dollars a coffee for a small cup... Stop cooking eggs in bacon grease! Ive been sick all morning since and won't ever come back here!
