Geo’s tavern style pizza is by far my most favorite pizza I’ve had in Chicago. The cracker crust is crispy and decadent with enough thickness to not be drowned out with toppings and sauce. Too often the tavern style is saturated in the middle making the crispy center more of a soft texture by the time you get to the middle. I ordered this double sausage add garlic and we’ll done. The freshness of the ingredients and perfect execution always delivers. What’s most impressive as a non Chicago native is the ability to not have any kind of issues later in the night or the next day. Sometimes too acidic pizzas sit heavy and don’t fair well with my stomach. I’ve never had an issue with any tavern style pizza in Chicago. I couldn’t recommend Geo’s enough! Remember, bring cash and an empty belly! You’re in for a treat!
Best pizza ever. I have never seen a pizza that has sauce cheese and pepperoni all the way to the edge almost NO CRUST!! SAUCY CHEESY JUST AMAZING. WAY BETTER THEN DOMINO'S PIZZA HUT AND DEFINITELY LITTLE CAESARS VERY RECOMMEND. So good that my wife and I finished a 14" pizza by our selfs and we don't regret it
Not even close to the best pizza i ever had but also not the worst. Tried it just because i live close to it was just okay, but be aware they only take cash! Which in this day and age is crazy i never carry cash anymore. I will stick with the original old world pizza on north & harlem.
Place has been here forever, delicious thin crust pizza! Cash only, and parking on Harlem Ave. Staff are very friendly, and prices are reasonable compared to most other places.
I wanted to give 5 stars. Love the history the nostalgic look and the true thin tavern style crust pizza. But looks better than it tastes sadly. Just wished it tasted better. I've eaten at over 50 pizza places in chicago and nyc. But their prices are nice for their pizzas. Open late for take out or delivery. Cash only.

My favorite thin crust pizza joint in the Portage Park / Dunning area. Beats Frank's, Al's and Trattoria Poretta. Guy who takes my order always cracks a joke and makes me laugh.
Best pizza place hands down! Especially their pan pizza. No wonder they've been around for 50 years.
