What a perfect place to sit outdoors, have a beer and some pizza. We got lucky with perfect weather and took advantage of the outdoor seating. We got there at 5:30 but still had a long wait. There was a private event as well that occupied a lot of the outdoor seating. Once we got our table the service was very attentive and friendly. Our waitress told us that the pizzas would take about 25min so we ordered the kale salad and bread/cheese. Great appetisers in preparation of the pizzas. Our favourite was the sausage and olive pizza. Big selection of beer to compliment the food.
Their pizza is delicious! The potato and leek is my favorite. All ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. They have a nice selection of wine and beer too. Really helpful and accommodating staff and wonderful atmosphere overall. 50% off select pizzas and $5 beer and wine from 3:30-6pm for happy hour.
By far one of my favorite spots in the area! Great food, great service, and unique beer! It feels like an escape from the city when I come here! The sourdough bread and pizza crust is delicious I keep coming back for more! Breakfast and dinner are both yummy!Food: 5/5
Great Neapolitan style pizza with a very manageable menu. We had four pizzas and my favorite was the mushroom, very flavorful and delicious. The kale salad was simple but good, nothing to write home about. Their drink menu was quite bare so I would have liked to see more options for wine and cocktails. They only had an old fashion option, which was too sweet so I stuck with their wine.
Went for a Friday night early dinner. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait but it ended up being about 10 minutes. We immediately ordered a beer and plain cheese pizza. About 10 minutes after that we ordered the sopressata hot honey special pizza and a sausage one. The cheese pizza came pretty quick but from when the cheese pizza dropped to the other 2 it took 54 minutes. Now I know it was Friday night, it was full but in that entire window we were not checked in on once to know what was happening. When we were finally able to get our waitresses attention we ordered dessert and got our check. At 630 pm they were out of 2 desserts and our pizzas arrived. They pizza crust was delicious. The sausage was smaller than marble size, a bit disappointing, especially after all that wait. I had considered just leaving cash and taking off more than once because of the wait and lack of communication and connection with out waitress. The pizzas were charred but some parts were burnt and inedible. When we did get our total it was on a computer screen with just a total. I would've asked for a receipt but I just wanted to leave due to frustration and hanger. Might be willing go give it another shot on a nice summer day but not if there's many people. Disappointed experience all around despite some pretty good tastes.
Rarely do you find a restaurant that consistently does a fantastic job with the food and service. We first went for breakfast and shared two pizzas between two people. The potato and leek cream pizza is a flavour you do not expect to get from pizza and I highly recommend it for its balanced flavours and textures. The star of the show of course is the dough. On another occasion, we went back for dinner with friends and ordered the fresh bread with cultured butter and fermented cheese spread to start and it was divine. The staff is incredibly attentive and thoughtful – they knew exactly what dishes we needed to stay away from because we had a guest with a severe nut allergy.
A solid brewpub / pizzeria in Logan Square serving delicious pizzas. The quality of food is delicious, but I would hope for more options on the menu especially in the appetizer section - it mainly has breads. There is plenty of seating space both indoors and outdoors. It can get a bit loud with the music at times and on busy evenings the service feels slow - it took almost 40 minutes to get our food from the time of ordering. But with everything being made fresh in the kitchen, it was definitely worth the wait!
Restaurant idea: bread and butter, but you have to pay for it and it's actually a whole entire appetizer. Is it ridiculous? Probably. Is it delicious? No doubt about it. If you're a fan of gluten then you'll definitely love this place. Grab a loaf to go and indulge. Pizza is damn good too.
Great neighborhood place for dinner! The servers were all so wonderful and our food came quick!! The pizzas were to die for, but don’t miss out on the roasted asparagus or the bread with honey and butter!
I walked in on a Friday night, it wasn't too busy and we were seated right away after showing our vaccine cards. We chose to sit in their "outdoor" area, which was enclosed and heated so not cold even though it's mid January. The ordering is done on our phones by scanning a qr code on the table, you also can close and pay your tab on your phone too. Simple and quick! As for food, we ordered the "Soppressata + Hot Honey Pizza" between the two of us. It was sooo good and not too heavy. For drinks I got a hot toddy which was perfect for warming me up. I would definitely come by again, the vibes were cozy and the food was delicious
