Gedney Farm

I love this place. I'm a wedding photographer and I'm lucky enough to get the opportunity to work at Gedney Farm a few times a year, and it's one of the best venues in the Berkshires. I've never stayed there so I can't comment on the rooms, but holy Mac the setting is incredible! And the staff is the right combination of professional and relaxed... exactly what someone planning a barn wedding in the country wants. The food is always top notch, and they are incredible at making sure the event is seamless for their guests. Did I mention the scenery?? A ceremony up on the knoll under a grand old tree, an intimate event in the courtyard between two rustic barns, or even in the beautiful loft on a rainy day... any way it's stunning!

My fiancee and I were interested in having our wedding at Gedney Farm. We had spoke with Micheal via email and he was very quick to respond and was incredibly helpful in regards to the information he was able to provide. Unfortunately, the venue was out of our price range and we were unable to continue forward with the space. Nevertheless, Micheal was pleasant and again, was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner.

I went to a wedding at this location. The staff was very courteous and accommodating.the food was good. I had fillet mignon and it was good. The management gave every one extra time for dancing after dinner and cake was served. They even made grilled cheese sandwiches for the guests. This a good place to go for a casual event.

We were dying to try this restaurant after we drove by it a few months ago. We finally went tonight. The grounds and restored barn are very nice . The food was a major disappointment though. Out of a party of six no one liked their meal. The pork spit roast was complete fat. It was disgusting. The steaks were less than average. The chicken was dry and bland. There are so many good restaurants in this area so it was a major let down to have a horrible meal and pay over $260 for it. We will not be returning.
