Shiro Sushi & Hibachi

Entertaining hibachi grill! Great food, and friendly service!---restaurant renovated, and changed menu. No more hibachi grill. 😢 I always say, don't fix what isn't broken!

I never bother to post reviews but I felt compelled to warn others. This place is terrible. 2nd time going here. I thought maybe the first time was just a random bad experience. I soon realized that's not the case at all. Total lack of customer service. Food was lacking in flavor. The mustard sauce tasted like kitchen cleaner mixed with random items to make it appear like mustard sauce. I actually asked to speak to management (something I've never done before). I explained my experience but they focused more on defending themselves than trying to hear what I was saying. Needless to say, my family and I were extremely disappointed and I wasted $200 FYI- the positive reviews are typically management or owners in a sad attempt to drown out the negative comments. I read the negative comments and I assure you they experienced what I experienced. Be warned... save your money

The food is what you order, no more, no less. The salad with my meal was plain as can be, but tasted fresh and the dressing was really good. Nearly the same is true of the sushi. It came with basic fixings, but was very well prepared and really fresh. Frankly, if sushi is what you are coming here for, this place makes the best in Berkshire County so far. It doesn't need all the extras if the quality is as good as it is. I would say it's likely I could have ordered extras but I just ordered on the run for my job and was very pleased with what I got. Service was very fast and courteous too, even beating their estimates for preparation time.
