Our reception was prompt and courteous, we both had burgers 🍔 and they were moist and tasty. The cole slaw was too sweet for my Pennsylvania liking but flavorful. The meal was attractively presented and our waitress was very attentive. Just what we were looking for tonight! We saw the notorious chocolate cake, but we were too full to tackle a piece that huge!!

Arrived there for the first night of our trip after a local suggested it. Waited over five minutes to be acknowledged. Finally seated and ordered the Bavarian Pretzel as an appetizer. It was 5 super small pretzel sticks that tasted good but hardly enough for our table of 5. Also, it was obvious that they were not made in house. The meal came before long. My two sons each had a hamburger (previously frozen puck). One came with chips from a bag, the other came with previously frozen broccoli. My daughter had the pita pocket. It was soggy, and had large globs of melted cheese all over the outside of it and the plate. She did not eat it. My husband had a BBQ burger that was super soggy with soaked bits of cooked onion all under the patty. The onions appeared to be from a package. And the burger (like my sons) was made from a previously frozen patty. I made the mistake of ordering the baked chicken. It came with an unclean baked potato that was so dry, that butter and sour cream could not help it. It had obviously been microwaved. And it had no flavor. My seasonal veggies were a medley from a freezer bag that I could have bought at the grocery store. And my chicken (that at least looked appetizing from the outside) was horribly dry with rubbery skin. The waitress never returned to ask us how the food was. Even the manager, who cleared the table did not bother to inquire why 3 plates (sans the boys hamburgers) had gone untouched. The staff must be used to full plates at the end of the meal that they would rather hurry and get their money than make sure the costumers want to come back. Next time I want a meal prepared by Chef Microwave from prepackaged frozen food, I will go to the grocery store. This place is over priced and disgusting. I hope I have saved you from my mistake of going.

The food is very good. Delicious salads and house dressing. The cheddar ale soup is awesome. All of the soups I've had there are very good. The vegetarian chili is excellent. Good beer here, as well! I've never had a bad experience here.

Coming from the Boston area, whenever I find myself on the western side of the state (usually 1-3 times a year) I make it a point to stop by the Barrington Brewery for the best fries in the world and to fill my dad's growler. My dad discovered this special place on the way to a bluegrass festival we went to every year when I was just a small child and it became a tradition to stop and grab some great food on the way back. Now, that festival has moved north and my dad stopped going, but I still drive out of my way to get my fries and his growler. I went out there for my 30th birthday a couple days ago to go hiking in the Berkshires, and you better believe it that I went for my fries and a killer salad last night on my way home. I barely made it before the kitchen closed but they cheerfully took my order and my night was a success. The staff and the food have never let me down in all the years I have visited! See you in July!!

Really nice beer selection and was pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the food. The service was as good as I have ever had. Pleasant, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.
