Gardel

Went to Gardel to celebrate my sister's birthday and it truly delivered! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the food is beautiful but most importantly so delicious! Highly recommend the duck and shrimp in the bread sauce in-house baked!. We had the pleasure of tasting a few options - and you can't go wrong. Great service as well, from the staff and chef! Truly a gem in the east end.

I loved Valentine’s brunch at Gardel! The apple pie French toast was excellent. And the eggs benny was done perfectly. Service was prompt and attentive. The bathroom even had a change table for us to change our baby’s diaper

Wow wow wow!!! Absolutely stunned by this restaurant ! We were just walking around the area and happened to see a cute restaurant Were we could satisfied our hunger. Didn’t know I was about to try the best pancakes in Toronto! Lovely decor, outstanding customer service, delicious food and super nice prices! All in one…. Their mimosa’s are also super good and my husband loved his Montecristo sándwich. They also have amazing vegan options and super tasty. You have to try it! Can’t wait to to take everyone I know to this place.

This bar is so nice! I love the decor and how it is all put together. At night it has such a good vibe and is a must go in east end! Also, Abbey and Michelle were an amazing team and made our visit exceptional - thank you!

Had a fantastic breakfast and Americanized here this morning while sitting in the sun on their patio. i had the basic breakfast despite the delicious looking options of Lobster Benny and Tiramisu pancakes as I was in a rush and didn’t want to rush through those dishes. I did see them passing by and will be going back to try both. The service was excellent too.

Went for brunch. Sad to say it was bad. Worse than a reliable diner. Egg over easy was hard, mediocre fries, flat dry store bread, stringy bacon. Super loud fridge noise?? We were surprised. We could have gone to Sunset Grill and done MUCH better. Not blaming the server. I think you need to shut down brunch and not restart until it’s worth the price and lives up to the restaurant’s star rating.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't go here intentionally. My friend and I were trying to visit another Bar in the area to find that it was closed so decided to check this place out. We were not in any way disappointed! The Server was very sweet and helpful. I have a lactose intolerance that she took note of and let me know if there was anything with milk in it. It was Buck-A-Shuck all night however; we decided to order Empanadas, Crispy Mushrooms, side of warm olives and fries along with each having a La Pasión, Rossini and The Last Tango. I cannot stress enough how delicious everything was but the La Pasión and those mushrooms have been seared into my mind. Those. Mushrooms. My God! Highly recommend for couples we unknowingly sat between two first dates and small groups. Do yourself a favour and order the mushrooms! You will not be disappointed. Dietary restrictions: Lactose

Very nice patio. Excellent drinks both in price and quality. Super nice server what’s not to like? We didn’t eat but had warm olives and they were nice. Will go back to try the food.

We went there during week. The place is small but cozy, the food is really well served, we got a picanha for both of us. It was good, but as brazilian I suggest putting more salt. And I don't know why, the meat was a bit cold. The truffles fries are delicious . The empanada was a bit soggy but it was tasty.Food: 4/5

Just all the right things are in place here. We first tried their food when the GEM patio opened during COVID. We loved it. We finally made it to their own space in person. Lovely patio, fabulous service, great menu and food, spot on cocktails and wine list. A total win for us!
