Very delicious Vietnamese restaurant. If it weren’t for the recommendation on Xiaohongshu, I probably wouldn’t have discovered this place.nAll the dishes we ordered were excellent, with unique and well-balanced flavors.nThe interior is warm and cozy, creating a very comfortable dining atmosphere.nEven on a Monday night, the restaurant was fully packed, which says a lot.nDefinitely coming back again.
Finally went to this restaurant that my Vietnamese coworker kept recommending.nThere were quite a lot of Vietnamese people inside too.nnYou really need friends because they only take reservations for groups of four or more.nSo we waited 40 minutes for a table — the sorrow of having no friends.nnThe menu has lots of variety - hot pot, pho, rice, noodles, plus various street-food items.nIf you have decision paralysis, you’ll need some time here.nnWe ordered two bowls of pho: one for the bone-marrow lover, one regular.nThey were very big bowls, lots of ingredients, and slightly more expensive than typical pho.nThe special thing is that they use wide rice noodles, not the usual thin ones.nThe broth was good. They said there’s no MSG — I didn’t feel thirsty after eating but my wife did.nnWe added the garlic fried chicken wings, served with a special lemon seasoning and a very salty non-spicy sauce. Highly recommended.nnAnother dish was the crab-cake spring roll. Very unique — like a crispy shell filled generously with shrimp and crab. Great texture and big portion.nnIf the wait is under 30 minutes, or if you have friends who can make a reservation, this is a solid choice.
My third time at Ganh and it’s a busy restaurant so it’s a good idea to make a reservation or go earlier. The staff are friendly and courteous. I ordered C24 which was delicious but the noodle portion was smaller than expected. The spring roll had a lot of filling and was delicious too. Worth giving this place a try at least once.
What a great place offering great dishes and prices were awesome! We had eaten in Vietnamese restaurants, mostly ordered pho, this was the first time we tried real dishes. The raw beef was tender, fried frog legs were crispy out juicy inside, clams were cooked just right, fish stews were delicious, and we finished with coconut milk deserts, wow! Yes, I agreed the venue may not be great, parking was difficult, but the price/value was super! Great food for foodies!
We did not make a reservation but we arrived at 5 ish, and were seated in around 15 min. There was a long line after we got in. Food was good, we ordered a crab soup hotpot, the beef was so fresh and tender, portion was big, noodles were authentic, but I didn't really taste the crab from the soup, it was just saltiness. The environment was cozy, with some Vietnamese decorations. The ventilation could be better, it was quite hot in the restaurant, and all of my clothes and my hair smell like hotpot after the meal.
