Already saw this restaurant several times, aleays have long queuing outside. This time i try to dine in. The taste is really good. Their specialty is the noodle with crab soup. Delicious, giant protion. The fish cake also one of the best
My Vietnamese friends told me this is a rare soup and hard to find. The fish cakes were very good and I’m glad they sliced them thin. I don’t know how I feel about dill in Vietnamese soup. The broth was a tad on the sweeter side but this is my first time trying it so I don’t know it’s authentically supposed to be the sweet. You can taste the fish/shrimp paste as a main flavor component.
I was drawn to this place by the Bun Cha title…. Was truly hoping to find the bun cha that I recently had in Hanoi only to not being able to find it…. It was different, have a smaller dipping bowl with more of a sauce than a soup for mixing with the noodles. In Hanoi, the char from the BBQ meats when mixed the dipping soup creates such a delicious flavor that makes me crave for all the time…. Only unable to find it….. the portion was large and lots of protein and noodle. However, the spring rolls are just too dense to eat more of….
As a person with celiac disease, I love eating gluten free fried squid here!!! And their vermicelli is gluten free and very delicious! Its our go-to place whenever we want to have a fast and delicious serve!
Tucked away in an unassuming corner of the city, Bun Cha Ca Hoang Yen is the kind of place you discover once and immediately start telling your friends about. From the moment you walk in, the comforting aroma of simmering broth, herbs, and spices fills the air a promise of the meal to come.nnWhat sets this spot apart is the depth of flavour in their pho. The broth is rich yet clean, slow-cooked to perfection with a delicate balance of sweetness and spice. Every spoonful delivers that signature warmth that only true Vietnamese comfort food can bring. The noodles are soft but never soggy, the beef tender and thinly sliced, and the fresh herbs add the perfect finishing touch.nnBeyond the pho, the restaurant also offers a variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes that showcase the same level of care and freshness. Whether it’s the crispy spring rolls, the bun cha, or their specialty fish cake soup, everything feels crafted with tradition and pride.nnThe atmosphere is simple, casual, and welcoming, exactly how a great pho spot should be. Service is quick and friendly, and even when the place gets busy, your bowl arrives piping hot and ready to revive your spirit.
