Stayed the end of august the gentleman that brought our wood was very helpful and polite but the lady at the office didn't seem so interested in helping us. Plus when we were checking in her dog attacked a campers dog that was on his leash she never moved from behind the desk to control her dog. The bathrooms behind the office we dirty and not maintained. There was dog stools everywhere around that area so you had to really watch where you walked. I wouldn't recommend the campground at all.i am highly disappointed no where near the water. Glad i didn't have to stay longer.
We made reservations on-line two months ago for two sites close together big enough for tents and screen tents. We received the confirmation email. When we showed up to the campground our reservation was no where to be found, sometimes things happen… but the spots that were available were ridiculously small and open. You might fit one small tent and a car on the site. There was No possibility of having our set up. Their was also a road going through the middle of the campground, granted it likely didn’t get seriously busy, but it certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. The one staff member we encountered seemed nice, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want a large private site- especially when there are 4 other campgrounds within 15 minutes.
Great place to relax pool is a bit cold .... while we were there a bit breezy but warm nice people friendly atmosphere. Now the upgrade of the pool it's beautiful .. now only if we could get wifi . We were there July it was hot for Christmas in July just beautiful .
Great place to get away. Kids had fun playing at the playground and swimming in the big pool. Beautiful spot. Cottages were very nice and had everything you need and completely spotless. Owners were very nice and the fireworks were pretty awesome. My family and I will definitely be coming back. So relaxing.
Excellent Campground with an unreal view of Delaps Cove. It's got a playground, a wilderness trail nearby, there's a wharf to see the fishing boats on the hill. The owners Jim and Elaine are amazing hosts and highly recommended for seasonals and all guests! We'll be here all summer!Service: 5/5
This place is an awesome place to stay, it has a canteen with candy, firewood and arcade games, a beach nearby and friendly seasonal campers! Would recommend. There is also a pool and a playground to bring your kids to!
Awesome spot! Right on the coast line. The hosts were super hospitable and friendly. Bathrooms were clean, well kept, and close to all campsites. There was a great resturant The Crow's Nest just up the road. We had a great time! Would definitely recommend.
After a very long drive and quite excited to get to our cottage and settle in for the night we pulled in and found the office to check in. It looked pretty decent with lots of activities and lots of people in the pool and playing washer toss. That first minute was the best part of our experience the next 10 minutes, sadly, we will never get back. We checked in and drove up to our cottages situated just above the pool. We unloaded our car and walked up the steps, we unlocked the door and I could not believe what we saw. Your eyes immediately go to the pull out couch that was at least 25 years old and looks as though it was taken from the garbage. The cushions were so worn and thin you could see the frame of the pull out couch underneath. I'm sure at one point this couch was grey but now it was heavily stayed and black. Then you look up and see a huge dead moth dangling from the ceiling. The smell of stale smoke was so disgusting I felt dirty just looking around. The floors have never seen a mop as far as we could tell. Everything about this dump was disturbing. I went down and advised the woman at the front desk we were beyond disappointed and requested a refund. She did give us our money back and we couldn't get out of their fast enough. I wanted to review this place on Trip Advisor but surprise surprise they aren't registered. My biggest regret is not taking photos to share so people reading this review can see first hand what we experienced. Zero pride is taking in cleaning or updating these cottages. Me and my boyfriend couldn't believe that anyone would every stay there. Unfortunately Google requires you to at least give one star in order to post your comment.
Such a beautiful little spot, nice view friendly owners.
This campground is a hidden gem, your hosts Lisa & Evan are friendly helpful and the other seasonals campers act as a great welcoming committee. The tenting sites are in the most beautiful setting I have ever seen, set by a stream with large flat areas.
