The Garrison House Inn

Being a person whom likes to only cook with the freshest of vegies, meats , fresh caught fish with the use of a nice wine/beer , I am a Picky. I would definitely recommend The Garrison House as one of my favorite places to dine. Great food, great staff and good wine! They have a very professional & friendly staff. The food is cooked the way food is suppose to be , not over nor under done. They nicely utilize the seasonal ingredients in their delicious nightly specials . It is such a pleasant experience to taste the ingredient used and not just a heavy sauce or batter. Thanks for the great experience...again.

Only ate here after hearing good things. Restaurant is not limited to overnight guests and we didn't book. Good wine selection with one off and bin end selections as well as the main list. I had pork which was very nice, but my partner's salmon was a little bit overcooked. The desserts are great though.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Beautiful century home over-looking Fort Anne. Spacious rooms offer a blend of modern convenience and classic atmosphere. Comfortable beds, free wifi, available free parking. Multiple room configurations insure there is always an option to suit your requirements. The main floor offers a bar and dining room with a screened patio for warm summer weather. Dishes on the dinner menu are delicious and made from fresh locally grown ingredients. I highly recommend the asparagus as a starter! Main course meals are wonderfully prepared and don't skip out on the rhubarb pie for dessert. Breakfast is just what you hope for! Enjoy it continental or, as I prefer, farm-fresh eggs over easy and toast made from home baked bread with fresh fruit and bacon of course. All of this hosted by very friendly, knowledgeable staff who you just might call friends by the end of your visit.

I only visited the restaurant . The main courses are good. To be on the picky side, they mixed cold and hot food for appetizers. The desserts are of 5 star hotel level!! European style laid back atmosphere . Prizes are reasonable for what u get.
