What a lovely spot. We were so impressed that 2 of out 3 in our group bought season tickets so we can return.nnA pocket of lovely gardens and tranquility in Annapolis Royal. Even in spring, when most of the leaves were absent from the trees, it was beautiful.nnWill definitely return to see the beauty throughout the seasons.
Beautiful spot! Was a bit hesitant to go in first because of the highish entrance fee $16? forgot exactly how much, but we ended up spending over 2 hours in there that made it well worth it. There is a little cafe situated in the middle of the gardens. The flowers were beautiful, scenery beautiful and landscaping well done. definitely a lot to see and enjoy if you’re into this type of thing.
What i like about this place is they have a wide range of flowers.nWhat i didnt like about this place aren- expensive entrance fee didn't meet my expectation of the said feen- they have flowers, yes. But this place lacks landscaping. The flowers weren't presented optimally.n- too much bugs and they are big! Up to the parking lotnnThe place needs some polishing especially for the entrance fee they charge.
The garden is very lovingly designed and contains a lot of different plant species. The garden appears larger on the map than it actually is. Nevertheless worth a visit. Within an hour you have walked all the paths including the dam where you leave the site for a short time.nThe ticket is a day ticket so you can also go out and come back.nThe prices I find for the size of the garden a bit expensive. Here would also be sufficient for adults a reasonable price.
It's worth the drive! We were amazed by the variety of plants there. The rates for family are very reasonable at $35 plus tax. There is a nice little gift shop and a cozy cafe. Highly recommend the strawberry lemonade.
