Frite Alors - McGill

It's not often I can be reminded of poor service and bad food. A friend and I went there Thursday after lunch hour for a quick bite. The waitress gave us attitude right away by telling us to wait although the restaurant was mostly empty. She then didnt feel like serving us and told her colleague to take our order. The apparently tired waiter didn't seem too happy but served us nonetheless. My friend and I shared an overpriced club sandwich and soft fries. Shame on Frites Alors, this isn't what I remembered of both service and food at their other locations. I definitely do not recommend this place.

We went on a weekday. There were not many of customers. However, we received our order after 45 minutes. Probably, the restaurant is understaffed. The food was good and the server helpful. But, the waiting time just sucked!

we have the duck poutine. delicious crunchy cheese curds. i wish they had a turkey and cranberry gravy poutine but no. then we had the hot dog d’icittes - good with delicious relish. the mayo menu was nice. the donuts are not the menu. fresh made and worth the wait. bonus - ipa on tap.

Fries are good but that's about it. Service and prices are just "ok" but the bathrooms are discussing. They say you can judge the cleanliness of a restaurant by its bathrooms and I worked in the restaurant industry for about 10 years and I agree with that saying... Needless to say I will not be eating there again.

Great fries if you're into thin and crispy ones. Good selection of microbrewery beers and a pretty large number of burgers on the menu. Service can be too casual at times.
