Lester's Deli

I was told I had to try smoked meat and found an article saying this place was more a local favorite than the other famous spot. I was actually surprised I liked it-Im not a big meat sandwich person to begin with but as the article said this meat was melt like butter tender. The fries were delicious too. The ladies there were awesome they gave my son and I are seat by the window and kept checking on him and bringing him stuff to snack on. For sure worth a stop!

Came here as a suggestion from a tour guide. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in, and an awesome environment in the deli. Felt like a place locals eat at, which was a great change. Service was fast, and sandwiches were delicious!! Split 2 sandwiches between myself and two other friends, it was just the perfect amount. Will be returning on our next trip to Montreal some day!

Friendly staff. You feel welcomed almost immediately. Service was good and fast. The little one loved their trick Mustard bottle. Smoked meat - DELICIOUS Poutine - no regrets A lovely nostalgic feel to the whole place.
