Freshslice Pizza

This review does not reflect on the taste or the quality of the food, as my pizza was really quite good. I had a hankering for pizza, so I came off the main road to have a slice or two. The woman I spoke to, obviously a senior member of staff or proprietor, was less than friendly and welcoming. I asked her 2 very simple and polite questions, and she barked her answers to me. And yes I was taken aback. Usually people are polite when they are talking to paying customers. I asked if one of the pizzas was cheese, and her snappy response was... "The cheese pizza is still in the oven and you will have to wait for it. That one is chicken." Now in all fairness, I didn't ask for cheese pizza. I only asked if one of the pizza's was a cheese pizza, because it looked to me like a cheese only pizza. I couldn't see any chicken on it, therefore it was most definitely short-on-chicken!!! When I paid for my order, the young girl on the till was equally as surly, and couldn't be bothered counting my change back to me, even though the cash-register displayed the amount of the correct change. The people who work/operate this Freshslice Pizza outlet are just plain nasty, and I can't understand why this place doesn't go out of business. I went to this location at approximately 3:45pm on the 2nd of February, 2018. I may return in a week to see if anything has changed, however I highly doubt it. Brian Ellis. Burnaby, BC

I used to go to this place because I like their pizza, but not anymore. Tonight I went there with my family and we took a pizza for my daughter together with a pop. I got 7-up but my daughter insisted on Pepsi. I didn't want her drink the caffeine pop because it prevents her from sleeping at night. To trick her, I asked my wife to remove the top portion of the cup and pour the black pop to pretend it is a black pop; the guy from back shouted:"You need to pay, it is a refill 50 cents". My wife paid for that. I still love their pizza, but I will go to he other branch.

They're pizza is always fresh and the customer service is wonderful 😊

Awesome place to buy pizza by the slice, pizza is delicious (I like the vegetarian the most) and most of the time they have fresh ready made pizza so there is no wait.
