They have an excellent selection of ethnic foods. The prices are good, and the produce is usually fresh. There aren't many staff to help you, but it's much cheaper than the big name grocery stores, and the price match to other stores flyers
Good prices compared to save on foods. The pharmacists are awesome and will go the extra mile for good service. Buyer Beware has been my experience due to the safety seals being broken and a horrible attitude towards customers returning items. The pharmacy is the best department in the store for integrity. This is an edit and I was quite critical about growing pains for fresco"s style of consumerism. Their lettuce with three types of lettuce in the same package is very intelligent consumerism I hope it is going to stick around. They also have live butter lettuce with roots and all. Very impressive in my opinion. I have added a star from my previous review.
Always have wrong prices for the sale items. Brought some Pocky sticks. Price sign said 3.98 but actually 4.77. Went to adk the cashier and told me different flavors for different prices. Someone put the wrong product under the on sale flavors of the same product. This is probably the worst FreshCo to go to. I usually go to the other one in Richmond. Always had bad experience in this one.
Lots of parking in popular mall Blundell Centre. Good prices, fast checkout. Limited stock in canned veggies and a few others. Some fresh produce not very. All in all good deals.
With high food prices, FreshCo provides a relatively affordable option to the community. Not fancy, but well managed. I don't need to drive far for selection or better prices almost. Hope their business model keeps them in business.
A newly opened supermarket, grand opening’s price is pretty good especially fruits. However cashier is not well trained probably because of grand opening? Or the melon barcode was not properly enter right? We bought melon but were charged for another orange fruit for $18. Luckily we saw the mistake on the receipt and manager refunded us. This store is more like no frills or superstore.
Compliments brand grocery store. Nothing in particular seems to be better priced here than elsewhere, so I would give it 3 stars. However every couple of weeks or so some stuff goes on sale for more of a discount than I would usually expect. I dont suggest going here for eggs though, every time I look for them, the cheap egg shelves are empty and the double priced ones are all that is left. edit: been here a bit more now. Their best deals tend to be in the cooler in the back right. Even if there isn't a sale, it's hard to beat 1.2kg frozen tubes of medium ground beef for $10 in this day and age packed into 3 separate tubes too, good if you don't want to use it at all at once and freeze some! Not even Costco has them priced so low, and that's in a giant unwieldly blob to boot. Their chicken thighs also tend to be priced at quite a nice deal for the customer. They have chicken and Turkey tubes like that too, though the Turkey one is kinda uncommon. I'll see them maybe 1/4 of the time as the chicken/beef which are nearly always there. Frozen veggies are priced pretty high though. I suggest going to save on instead and getting their 1.5kg bags
Great place to go if you want cheaper prices for food stuff are very helpful and it’s very clean in the store
