We ordered special "mermaid" cupcakes for our daughters mermaid-themed birthday party, they were a huge hit! I asked for two-toned buttercream swirls on top and special sprinkles, and half of them made with chocolate cake and half vanilla cake. They turned out gorgeous and to me had the perfect level of sweetness not too sweet which I like. It was hard to find a bakery in Richmond that did custom cupcakes like this so I'll definitely be back for other special occasions!
My apologies, I engulfed most of the cakes before I remembered to write a comment- that signifies how good the cakes are. Extremely well made cakes, in both appearance, taste, and proportions. I recommend the Lemon, Blueberry, UBE, and Hazelnut. In all honestly, all their cakes and cheesecakes in which they are most famous for, are very good. Their store is also very clean, with well customer service and good price. I honestly think that this might be the best cake store in Richmond. However, their sweetness is catered to the sweeter side. Not too sweet, but some Asians may think that the triple fudge is too sweet. Which is why definitely try the cheesecake first. They are superb. Taste: 5/5 Appearance: 5/5 Price: $ Comeback rate: 100%
I love their donuts! My favourites are the strawberry shortcake and earl grey donuts. The dough is on the moist side and the icing on top is divine. The topping is liken to an icing exterior with an inner mousse filing. I have not tried donuts like this before. Will be coming back for more!
Had really high expectations on their cakes but really disappointed. Mango cheesecake: sour, very artificial flavour. Tiramisu: dry, very dry. White chocolate bailey: very sweet I can only taste "sweet" instead of other things. Even T&T has better cakes than this tbh.
My boyfriend bought me cakes for my birthday and I have to say, out of these different flavor my favorite is torn between tiramisu and triple chocolate. The tiramisu has just enough coffee flavor and the cream is light. The triple chocolate mousse is so smooth and flavor. Not too strong and not too sweet. It’s perfect. Highly recommend this shop!
Found this small bakery shop in Stevenson area. OMG the owner have been served a cake to the royal family . I have try the chocolate cup , doughnut ,and cake . They are so delicious
Been coming here for years and every birthday I enjoy my favourite triple chocolate mouse cake. It is on the sweeter side so some nice dark coffee to cut the richness is perfect. Their creations are steady and always consistent for me. Nice to have them remain in the same area/across the street from their previous location. My favourite cake shop in Richmond.
The service was poor. The cashier repeated “Anything else?” 4 times while we ordered. There were only two of us and no customers waiting. Then, she asked if we wanted cream or milk in our coffees, to which we replied cream and she said, “fat”. She was so rude! We won’t be back. I could go on, but, it was just such a negative experience. The coffee was good. The apple strudel, good. Red velvet donut, fatty. Lard? I threw half out. Cinnamon buns aren’t fresh, they are brought in and stored in the fridge.
Delicious cake and pastries, not that expensive, fun area. I have had a lot of things off the menu here, and everything has been very yummy. The staff are very kind, there is seating inside, and its a wonderful place! + minutes away from a beautiful look at the Fraser River! 9.5/10
Diplomat is always delicious. We often come here for cheesecake or their cherry Danishes our personal favourite. So far we haven't met a sweet treat here that we don't like. We also really enjoy the veggie samosa. They are a little pricy, but it's totally worth it.
