Frangoz Fish and Chicken

We stumbled upon this nice little spot conveniently located within walking distance of Canada’s Wonderland. I had seen quite a few praises on social media, so I was eager to give it a try. The wait for our food was a tad longer than expected, clocking in at around 25 minutes. However, when our meal arrived, it did not disappoint. We opted for the Frangoz special burger, which surpassed Popeyes’ chicken sandwich in terms of flavor and crispiness. Although the fries were quite basic, they delivered a satisfying crunch. We also tried the crispy chicken burger. It was just as hearty and had similar standout features to the special burger. Unfortunately, the macaroni salad didn’t hit the mark. It was overly sweet with an off-putting consistency and texture. After a couple of bites, I had to set it aside. To end on a high note, the apple pie was a treat. It bore a resemblance to McDonald’s apple pie but stood out with a more textured outer crust.

This place has AMAZING food! I would highly highly highly recommend. I went to eat there after Dave & Busters & was extremely impressed. I usually eat relatively healthy so I was weary about the fried food because I usually don’t feel great after. However, this place makes everything FRESH. Nothing is reheated & you can truly tell once you’ve finished your meal. I did not feel as gross as I would after eating Popeyes. What I ordered is in the pictures and it tasted as good as all the food looks!!!!! You won’t be disappointed if you stop here. Kudos to the people running it, they work hard to provide the best!

Tried this place for the first time. We were very happy with the food. We ordered chicken burger and a waffle burger. We liked the burger better than the waffle. Regardless, it was very tasty and fries were really good as well. Very reasonable prices too. Will come backFood: 5/5

The order for the Frangoz special burger combo $15.95 was very filling. It was a little more than enough for a 1 person meal. I love how the burger was stacked really high and included a big chicken piece. The fries were very standard, though; and I had to ask for some ketchup packets a couple of times. You would just have to wait for quite a while for your food order. It did show in the posters or signs present in the store that they prepare the food fresh. For the rest of the setting, it was all very good. The place was neat and organized. The single person bathroom was clean.

Definitely feel like this place was overhyped by many social media posts. I ordered the haddock fish with fresh cut fries. Price was decent, but the fish did not taste fresh at all. The only good thing about it was that it was really crispy but the fish was not flaky whatsoever. It just seemed very hard. The ambience is very welcoming and the staff are really nice. A group of 4 of us came and they brought out all of our food at once in 15 minutes.

I read a review on insta about this place and thought of giving it a try and the review was 100% honest. One of the finest fish I've had in this hidden gem in the city of Vaughan i drove all the way from Toronto and it was worth visiting this pleasant location. We had spicy basa, frangoz burger and crispy chicken sandwich all items were super freshly cooked and crispy . The staff at location were so welcoming. Restaurant , tables were super clean. When the staff came to knew that it's my first visit they complimentary served me mango smoothy which itself was super refreshing. People who only eat at halal places this place is highly recommended for them.

New restaurant new style new menu Fish was awesome with very tasty different shape of fries. Jalapeños bites are amazing. My kids loved the burgers and the taste of it. Will highly recommend to others and will go back again.

Went with the family after a long day at Wonderland and was starving! Ordered chicken sandwiches, chicken waffle sandwich, chicken poutine, and a couple of pieces of fried chicken. Food was prepared fresh, took about 15 minutes which is a good thing! Chicken was well cooked and juicy, sandwiches had brioche buns, fries were great had waffle and fresh cut. Spicy sandwich had lots of sauce and nice amount of spice. Poutine had lots of curds, gravy could have had a bit more flavor but was fine. Portions were generous. Most importantly service at counter was excellent. The young man was friendly, knew his menu, was patient while ordering for first time. Went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect. Can’t comment on fish because we didn’t have any but would recommend for chicken!

Took a bit long to cook as only two persons are working in the restaurant. Chicken Poutine has too much gravy makes the whole dish very salty. Breaded chicken tastes salty too. Interior is clean but food needs to improve.Food: 3/5
