My family goes to this resort every year. It is so amazing from a teens point of view. I can hang out with my friends in the game room and have ping-pong competitions. The lake has two rafts to lay down or jump off of. The beach is perfect to build sandcastles. You can take out paddle boats to the near by sand bar. This resort is great for all ages. Everyone has something to do. If you have kids, I know they will love this resort. So hurry and book a cabin now!! Also, I was reading some other reviews. This is an old resort that will help you unplug from the real world. I love that there are no TVś and I am a kid!

Fountain Point is my refuge from all that is 21st century life. Everything about it is perfect when taken into the context of where you are and what you are trying to accomplish. This community of incredible families has come to these lands for generations to laugh, celebrate, swim, sleep and contemplate life from a covered porch, the shade of a tree or floating in the water. If you are reading this please do not deny yourself the experience that is Fountain Point Resort.

Here for a wedding and was also an overnight guest. Hosting a wedding of 100+ is hard to coordinate but I wish there had been a bit better organization of the rooms. It's a beautiful property and the views are to die for. The rooms are old, with only a single plug in our room. Bed and breakfast style with a shared bathroom between 4+ rooms. There's also no AC, which during the 88* day was not the most comfortable. Staff was incredibly helpful during our stay.

The property is pretty cool. They have kayaks and canoes you can take out on the lake for no extra charge. There's a nice big back porch you can hang on and fire pits. It's probably great for families. The room in the hotel was just ok though (the bed WAS super comfortable.) It's a very old building and it shows, not necessarily in a bad way. It's almost 130 years old so there's a lot of history there. It's decent for what it is, I'm just not into it. There are only two rooms in the hotel that have a private bathroom.
