Fortinos – Oakville Neyagawa LocationnnVisited on October 11, 2025, to purchase Medjool 2 lbs dates advertised in the flyer Oct 8–12 for $8.88. The item wasn’t on the shelf, so I went to Customer Service. Adam tried to help and contacted the Assistant Manager Naz, but instead of speaking to me directly, Naz relayed messages through Adam — very unprofessional.nnNaz refused to honour the online flyer, saying he only accepts the paper version, and reluctantly issued a rain check for only 2 items. Later, Adam confirmed that the policy allows rain checks for 4 items except expensive products like olive oil.nnNaz’s rude attitude and misinformation were disappointing and not what I expect from Fortinos. I request Customer Service Manager Fanny to review this incident and ensure proper training and consistency. Also looking for a rain check for 4 items.

I enjoy having a fresh salad for lunch, but my appetite does disappear after finding two of the same bug in my salad.nI understand needing to wash my salad, but this is from the prepared foods area.nThis is disgusting, especially after paying $7.49.nPlease take the extra step and make sure your team members thoroughly wash food before preparing it.

Today I know the rude manager name it’s NASnToday, while I was shopping in Fortinos, I found some types of soft drinks, and when I wanted to choose a group of them, I discovered that they were expired. When I went back to the employee in charge, she treated me in a rude manner and took the cans from me. She even treated her colleague in the same rude manner. This was not the first time, as her rigid attitude in dealing with customers was repeated, as well as her arrogance in dealing with customers. I am surprised by this way of dealing with customers.n*************************************************nYesterday I went to buy condensed milk from Fortinos and when I chose the milk I discovered that it was expired. Dear customers, please be careful and extremely cautious when purchasing products from Fortinos .nToday I know the rude manager name it’s NAS,nnToday I visited the branch to replace my toothpaste and the receptionist was very nice and polite but when Jay came he didn't seem to like the replacement and when he left he called the customer service trying to incite him not to serve me but the wonderful customer service didn't respond to his request, hence I express my extreme dissatisfaction with the actions of this employee which are not up to the level of professionalism and I also want to inform this employee that his cheap style is exposed.

Today is Nov 19. I am in store to buy Oysters around 10 30am. The counter has 12 kinds and I want to try all because I am not familiar Oysters so I want each one of each kind. The lady staff is very upset saying she is not going to take every each one because it is lot work. I totally understand saying you can put all in one or 2 bag because they are all same price. She angrily says she can not due to inventory. I have to keep saying sorry when she is picking oyster with such a bad mood. at that time I am wondering if you don't want people buy that way just put sign to tell customer. No need yelling and so mad in front of many people. How I know you are not willing to do so even your store flyer has Oysters promotion. I will never go there again

The grocery store has always been fine, and I’ve been shopping here for at least 15 years. I really appreciate the underground parking, especially on rainy days. I also wanted to acknowledge the extra moment taken to double‑check that I hadn’t forgotten anything, by looking over the conveyor belt and asking if I’d forgotten water, which I didn’t have, rather than simply asking me directly. Since this is the first time anything like this has happened, I’m left wondering whether it’s part of a new process or if something else, like the colour of my skin, played a role.
