Just stopped in while walking the river parkway trail. Seems like a nice place for some family fun that's educational about history. You can camp here. For basically being in the middle of the city it feels far away from the city during the day but I don't know if it stays so quiet at night.

Love to dog park. It has 4 fenced areas and a nice river behind it for pups to play in. The people are generally very nice. I haven't run into any problems here. Wish they had more available water for the dogs but overall, a nice dog park.

Fort Buenaventura used to be an awesome place for festivals and events but since there has been a noise ordinance is hasn't been the same. Everything has to be shut off at 10 and nobody likes to end a good night right as it starts so to say the least the fort is cool and there's a dog park nearby and a disc golf course close too. I would give this 5 stars but because of the noise ordinance it hasn't been as enjoyable.

I had never been here before. My niece had her wedding here. It was beautiful. I can't wait to come back when I have more time to explore.

The fort Buenaventura Park and trails along the river are absolutely marvelous. Great place to walk bike ride picnic and canoe! Would be terrific for a family reunion! Now I'm talking about the Fort Buenaventura dog park here. nice when first built. Ogden City does not maintain well. Even now in July, the hottest month of the year, it is SO MUDDY you should probably be prepared to wash your dog after and wash all your own clothes! There is definitely a chronic landscaping problem. It's pretty sad that people visiting the Ogden area don't have a decent place to let their dogs run free. This place is large and fenced just needs some TLC.
