One of our favourite provincial parks by far! Staff are amazing, super friendly! Love the layout of the park, this year was our second year staying at this park and hope to be back many times. The first year we stayed one night before heading on to Parrsboro for the weekend. We arrived late and originally booked a walk in-site which probably wasn't a great idea since it was late and we were tired but the staff offered to move us into a drive in site which was fantastic. We had a great stay and got to take part in a free clam digging workshop put on by Parks Canada, one of the best parts of our trip. This year we stayed for 2 nights and just relaxed an enjoyed the park. We had a excellent walk in site and a great view. We love provincial parks and want to support them. They are such an underused thing in our province and offer such an enjoyable comfortable experience. Can't wait to book one of their new walk in sites again next year! The staff at this site deserve a pat on the back for the great job they do!

Loved the location, and I cannot really say anything about the staff as I didn't see them really all that much. We loved the views on the trail and the beach. Perhaps may have enjoyed it more had we been in another site. One thing that really bothered me was: a government campground with very poor receptacles for recycle and garbage(easy access for animals to invade, become nuisances and end up being destroyed) HOWEVER, my biggest beef with THAT was that there were absolutely NO compost bins to be found. Couldn't find even one!!!! Which in turn makes people put food in the garbage and attract the wildlife even more. I realize there is probably limited funding, but come on..... there is a brand new building up there, can't we put at least ONE compost bin??? and perhaps animal proof garbage containers. Sorry for the downer, but I am just putting MY opinion out there. It IS a very beautiful area to visit.

Carol from Parks who helped us, was so kind and enthusiastic, helpful and just wonderful to chat with, thank you so much Carol for making us feel so at home, we couldn't have felt more welcomed.

So beautiful! The tide goes out far enough that it takes 20 minutes to walk from the shore area to the water. Amazing.
