Pretty straight forward burger. Beef patty is great. Bun was good. U can customize your burger as per your veges and sauces. Limited options available like hot sauce, ketchup and Mayo. Vege options are good. Cheese burger is a big burger and tastes good.
While it may be more expensive than other fast food chains, it definitely delivers in terms of taste and experience. The milkshakes are also amazing!
Hands down best burger for the price in town. Always made fresh and right in front of you. Staff are friendly and professional. I have a food allergy and they always mark it on my receipt and yell it out. Don't mind if it ensures my food is safe fries are amazing and they put extra in the bag for you! We order a large and it's enough for 2 people. Expect to pay a little more than your average fast food, but expect A LOT more from the food. Definitely worth the little extra.
Little disappointed with my order today, loaded with mushrooms I didn’t order, no bag fries like on the mainland & virtually no bacon at all. I had high hopes for five guys. Maybe staff still adjusting to the speed of the output as it’s new. Just under 30 minutes wait to get food. I’ll try again next month. See if quality is improved. Burger did taste good once I removed the mushrooms! Edit: July 27 2021 Had twice more since this time, quality has improved allot. More in line with the mainland. Hopefully they open a second location to take some of the pressure off this one. With how busy it always is there is no chance they can ever do delivery services!
Five Guys burgers are fresh and made to order making them way better than any other fast food joint in town. The poutine is phenomenal especially a Cajun poutine and all toppings are free! The milkshakes are also so creamy and sweet with free toppings too! I also wanted to give a big shoutout to the managers who have helped with my orders that’ve been wrong. It’s hard to keep up with so many toppings on all the items at the same time so it’s great to know they are able to get it right for you next time
In my personal opinion it's really not worth all the hype, the food tastes the same as any other average fast food place but at a higher price, I've had better burgers at McDonalds to be honest. Their only redeeming feature are their milkshakes, they tasted like my childhood.
First time for us to eat a Five Guys burger. The burger was delicious and worth the cost. You can feel the value in the weight of these burgers. As to the service, the staff were vibrant, energetic, and downright awesome. Will definitely be eating there more often.Food: 5/5
Five guys avalon mall is WILDLY inconsistent. The fries are soggy and sogged with grease half the time and the grilled onions are basically just warmed up, not even grilled. I thought there was supposed to be some kind of quality control? For those prices, five guys better shape up.
Went to 5 guys on kenmount road today. Ordered 3 burgers and a cheese dog plus fries and poutine. The food was good but they forgot to put in the cheese dog. Got home and found no cheese dog. Called them and no one picked up the phone and could not leave a voicemail. Very disappointed but understand that they were busy and mistakes happen.
The staff is always friendly and I love the burgers every time I go here. They also offer gluten free options in the way of a lettuce wrapped burger. I went with a GF person and the supervisor made sure every station knew that the order was GF, and made them change gloves and take extra care not to cross contaminate the order. The fries are also really good, and I like the variety and combinations of milkshakes they offer. They also have peanuts available while you wait.
