First Choice Haircutters

Took my boys here for their hair cuts. The one who did my little one's hair (really wish I'd asked her her name!), she was brilliant! Kept chatting away with him and he enjoyed himself! Whereas, the one who did my older boy's hair, she was rude, and would get so defensive every time I would give a suggestion. Also, unnecessarily shampooed his hair on the claim that it was oily, only to over-charge us! And in the end, gave him a horrible hair cut, that I had to get redone! She must be Tina, as that was the name printed at her work station! Very unprofessional of a hairstylist! Will recommend anyone other than Tina in this location!

I got my hair done at Stone Rd location and these people ruined my hair! I got foiled hi-lights done and it leaked to my natural roots and the highlights looks so brassy! It was not what I was asking for! Plus my haircut was terrible! The girl cut it too short and uneven! These people here Suck! I would never come back here again.

Tina was the stylist who cut my hair and she did an awesome job. She talked me through what i really wanted. Will make this my go to salon for haircuts and will ask for Tina as long as she is working there.

I’m really disappointed with the quality of my dye here. I brought in a photo and talked with the stylist of what I wanted done. I came in blonde and just wanted to darken it up and have some blonde highlights, I was told we could do this no problem and she referred to the photo multiple times. When I left my hair was a dark reddish brown.... not at all what I asked for and although we spent over 4 hours with two different colours of foils... it came out as one colour. I went back because obviously I was upset, and the manager agreed with me it was not at all what I asked for. She then put in a half head of blonde highlights. The highlights are the worst I’ve seen, they are chunky and honestly I just look trashy. The one near my face is far chunkier than the rest, yellow at the top and bleach blonde at the end, and they already look outgrown. I feel I was overcharged because I was charged for all the work with different and more highlights the first time, when it just turned out brown.... I shouldn’t have been charged for those highlights at all. I have no confidence in going back for them to fix it if I’ve already had their “colour girl” and the manager work on my hair just to hate it twice. I paid $200 for terrible hair. I feel guilty because they were both very nice and my hair cut is great, but the colour is NOTHING like I asked for and I did not go in with unrealistic expectations. They were both shown the photo and now my hair is dark brown with streaky yellow to bleach outgrown highlights. I now have to go somewhere else for it to be fixed and spend even more.... very upset.

I highly recommend Nishann at this location. He does a fantastic job on my hair. I was getting 3 inches off but still wanted to keep it longer. I felt in good hands with him. Knew exactly what to expect. No suprises. Takes the time to do it well. Always checks how much you want off with his comb so he has a reference point. Friendly and polite. He remembered me and some details about our convo almost 7m prior! He really takes an interest in his customers. I really hope he continues to work weekend there so I can keep coming back :) thank you so much!
