The young man that took the order was full, isn’t nice and a good communicator. Gentleman that took the order also made the sandwiches as in conversation he was one of the owners sons, very calm, very pleasant and and well mannered. The food was amazing. Didn’t ask for better. Plus he gave me lots of pickles. Thank you so much. Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh vegetables to choose from if you do not eat meat, you can do a vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: Lots of options if you have dietary needs Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: They have lots of options for kids, and they even have a fire helmet hat for the kids when they ordered. Their kids meal is exciting for the kids. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a lady ahead of me that couldn’t get in due to where the button was to get into the door. I assisted her and give her suggestions because it was her first time in, helped her out to get to a table and asked a young man behind the counter that was making her sandwich, if he could deliver it when it was ready.
My son took me to this location for a late night sub. Absolutely amazing. The food and service were excellent! Love the atmosphere. Feels like your at the fire station. I can definitely see why it's one of my sons favorite. love the round up feature to support community First Responders/EMS Well done!Food: 5/5
I ordered online to avoid the wait as they say. The order was ready for pickup in less then 10min. I think that’s great for a busy Friday supper time order. When I arrived I noticed the place is fairly busy. However, my chopped salad was ready very quickly. The vegetables are better quality then other places I’ve been too. I would highly recommend eating at Firehouse Subs. The only negative I have is that I had requested utensils be included with my purchase and there were none.
Watched the girl who prepped my food cough without covering her mouth. Wipe her nose on the back of her hand and try to stifle her cough while I was watching her. No gloves, gross. No mask while you're coughing on open food, even more gross. Told them to keep their sub I would go somewhere else. All this while in uniform. Won't be back.
Firehouse Subs really surprised me there's none in the Branford area and that's an absolute shame. The quality of the subs are far superior to Subway or any other I've ever had I was so shocked and how good they were. I also like the fact that this comes from firefighters and other EMS staff with proceeds from The Profit going to support EMS initiatives within the community. I love the originality of all the recipes and I also love how the place is decorated.
Just had my first bad experience with firehouse subs. Me and my partner went in to order takeout. When I ordered my sub tonight I noticed a price change but it didn't bother me to much. When I got home and opened my sub there was barely any meat on the sub. In-between the bread was paper-thin. I thought is there less meat because I added lettuce and mushrooms. Normally there subs are fairly portioned. So in my disappointment of the sub I searched the box and bag for the best pickel to go with the sub. But they had forgot Both pickles. My medium priced dinner was not like previous times.
I love Firehouse subs, but please fix your online ordering system and also accept more methods of payment. So many times I've tried to order online only for the system to not work, not accept my debit card for some unknown reason, or the store didn't receive the order even though it did successfully process online one time. This is super frustrating. I like to order online because it takes some time for them to make your order if you're waiting, which is understandable because good food should not be "fast" food and I can definitely appreciate that. But please fix your online ordering.
Beef n Brisket tonight was lacking in bbq sauce, the lady who made it skimped on it. Although when I went in, there was a staff member mopping and cleaning who was very courteous and nice and polite while the others were very much mundane. He greeted us and asked how we are doing etc. Said his name was Ubaedallah or something along the lines. Great job young man!
This was my first ever visit to a firehouse subs restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. Unique menu, neat atmosphere and great tasting food. I had the turkey club and a side chili. The sub was very tasty. Plenty of meat and fresh toppings and the bread was light and perfectly sized. The chili was maybe the best "fast food" chili I've ever had. Impressive! I'll definitely be back. Only slight negative was the constant questions probably 5 times on how the food was tasting. A little much!!
Pricey, but we'll worth it amazing food!! 20 years from now no one will know what sub way was or Mr. Sub. This place in incredible!!Food: 5/5
