Very delicious food for a fair price, also the coffee was delicious. We came specifically to try Square Mile coffee and we were not disappointed.
Both my friend and I really enjoyed ourselves!! We had scrambled egg on toast with vine tomatoes and watercress, could also taste a little oil on the bread. It was delicious! Service was great! lovely young man who served us was tops! Spacious/atmospheric and lovely looking place. Looks like it used to be a pub but they have certainly put their mark on it. As we said our good-byes the 3 membered staff all looked back and said the same, smiling! I recommend this friendly/welcoming restaurant
Lovely café with a happy vibe. The staff is friendly and service is fast. Definitely a bit pricey but that's all brunch places these days. The jalapeno cornbread was delicious and a nice digression from usual brunch menu.
The menu choice was variety of burgers and fries for dinner. They had a vegan option of burger too. I had the Korean chicken burger which was delicious. The chicken was succulent though I must say it didn't need the runny fried egg in it. Staff were friendly and the place has a chilled atmosphere. Great place to come in a group.Food: 4/5
Popped in for a impromptu drink and a light bit to eat and found myself thinking "this place is actually pretty awesome". It definitely lends itself more towards being a gastro pub or somewhere you'd have a breakfast, brunch or lunch rather than a pub you'd have several drinks at though no doubt you could probably do the same. The coffee was awesome and staff friendly, would definitely recommend people stop by the spoke if you're on Holloway Road.
This is one of my favourite coffee shops in the area ; Great coffee, good selection of pastries and many options for breakfast/brunch.
Genuinely fab brunch. Avocado toast with egg and bacon really hit the spot! I’ll be back.
I went here over a year ago and it was lovely however after visiting yesterday we waited ages to get any sort of service when we finally did the pastries arrived slightly old & the coffees arrived about 15 mins after our pastries! Not ideal. Vegetarian options: Veggie options are available Kid-friendliness: Babies can sit inside
I had a lovely catch up time here with my friend and former boss. The breakfast menu was a delight to choose from and pricing average. Not expensive. My friend had homemade oat compote with Greek yogurt. It was tasty but we had to pay extra for more yogurt. The yogurt portion wasn't enough. The coffee was brilliant and I enjoyed it. We had cappuccino. The service and customer care was really good, while I was waiting for her I got a bottle of water and the menu to keep me occupied. When she arrived a few minutes after I did the waiter was on hand to take our order and I came quickly. The ambiance and atmosphere there is cool and calm and it's well suited for meetings and hangouts. I'll definitely be going back.
Didn't have enough ingredients to make the sandwich I ordered, still served it at full price and refused to compensate. £11 for what was mostly bread, lettuce and mayo.
