Fig's Lake Leelanau

Charming little breakfast and lunch nook. They are utilizing farm fresh, and locally grown products. The husband and wife team are extremely friendly, outgoing, and personable. The food is fantastic and the presentation is lovely! If you are taking the time to read this...you should just hop in the car and go!!

Great, fresh food with unique choices! Our group enjoyed the veggie hash and eggs Benedict. The place was very busy but staff did a great job keeping up.

This place is super cute and the food is amazing. I had the Fig's melt, the bacon avocado wrap and sweet veggie hash and they were all amazing. The bacon avocado wrap was my favorite but all of the food was super fresh loaded with flavor. It's owned by a local couple that have a crazy amount of love for food and they are pouring it into this place. I seriously can't wait to go back!

Stoped by here for breakfast on a business trip. A real gem and a wonderful find. Food is genuine, real, and complex. Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Worth the trip if in Traverse city.

New to our Sunday brunch rotation. She had the Lamb in Puff (pleasant black garlic seasoning) and he had the Breakfast Burrito (yogurt and salsa topping was just right) with Bundt Cake washed down with Higher Grounds dark roast. Yummy! ... Continue to be delighted by Brian's creations. On 9/10/2017 she had the shepherds pie and I the Bacon Cheeseburger - both were super tasty and I licked the plate as it was the BEST burger right up there with 9 Steak's which is twice as expensive! Another perfect bruch at on 11/26/2017. BBQ burger set a new bar and the burrito with chorizo gravy - yum... 12/20/2017 mid week lunch date I had the pork and pickles (pork cheeks and pickled veggies) she the chicken melt - Brian continues to rock the taste buds with his creative cooking. 1/19/2018. Shared a root veggie salad. She had the Turkey chilli and he had the cheese burger. All were excellent. 2/02/2018 lunch she had the braised shortrib hash he had the BLT... soooo goooood. 2/25/2018 Yak Stack and Garbanzo frittata... again excellent creations from Brian.... 3/08/18 Turkey burger for her and mushroom burger for him.... with bread pudding for dessert washed down with Higherground.... blissfully full on a snowy late winter day in Lake Leelanau.... 3/18/2018 she had the Shepherds Pie special and he had the Yak 3-egg Frittata with rye toast... HG coffee to wash each bite which was perfectly paired and wiped the plate clean with the toast. Happy tummies and now sunning in the solar patio at home. Perfect Sunday before Palm Sunday. 4/08/2018 she had the zucchini carbonara and he had the bacon avocado wrap. Oh my so so tasty.... Brian continues to rock the tast buds... 4/20/2018 Late brunch. Shared the Corn Chowder, she had the chicken strudel he had Stuffed Vidalia Onion Bennie washed down with Higher Ground coffee.... oh my the innovation Brian brings out of his kitchen.... 4/27/2018 Friday lunch. She had the burrito he had the steak tacos. Brian's sauces and protein and vegetables are so well matched the flavours pop in you mouth. So so good...
